Were 4-4 on the last 8 games that herro is out, and obviuosly thats huge since he’s the 3rd part of our big 3. Our 3 new acquisitions (rozier, wright, mills) will obviously need more time to sync with the team. im not worried even if we become 10th seed and into playin, as im confident the team can still flip the switch when we get there
I suspect Spo has something up his sleeve we don’t know about. This maybe where he wants the Heat to be, under-rated crawling under the radar.
Mickey Mouse Jimmy. What’s next Pajama Jammy Jam Jimmy?

Heat fans now…
You are a denialist. Can’t you see we are better and could have been better, if only only Arison listened to me traded every one and for a new arena.
LOL!!!
Yes,Yes, I know. Don’t say it. This team on paper at least, is better post trade than pretrade. To say otherwise you will be branded a denialist, lol! But if my memory serves me right, pre trade the Heat toggled between the 7th and 5th seeding and twice was the 4th seed and I never remember any jubilation. We all took it for granted.
Fast forward many weeks post trade, we celebrated being a 6th seed with cacophony just a fortnight ago! And I wondered to myself how come we are celebrating being a 6th seed, when many months ago pre trade we were either the 6th or 5th seed and at worse briefly the 7th seed pre trade. Some even dare dream of being the 4th, I even pushed the possibility of a 3rd seed to add color to the optimism.
Suddenly, the Heat is the 8th seed and facing the prospect of a play in tournament. Hopefully, our last string of hope is in the return of Herro, Love and our two new signings.
Things are getting more interesting, I dare say. Sit back and enjoy folks, it is getting more interesting.
Go Heat, Go!
Your comment strikes me as very vague, perhaps intentionally. Before these 3 discouraging (and humiliating) losses, the team was 9 games above 500 for the first time this season! That means they were doing better post trade than pre trade. It’s not an indictment, it’s just a fact. The team has been inconsistent the entire season. I’m not sure how things will end up – I’m just hoping for the best. Along with the negatives of the season, I’ve seen some positives too.
Not vague. Just saying pretrade at the 6th or 5th seed was never celebrated, because we were accustomed to it. Post trade, the 6th seed is celebrated as if Santa has come to town. That is the fact and I wonder why. Not suggesting anything, just observation that did happen not a make up one. That is why I find it interesting.
Fair enough. But I’d like to ask you directly. Do you believe the team was better with Kyle Lowry than it is with Terry Rozier?
A bad loss. No question about it.
The old motto was “two to tie at home three to win on the road.” Jimmy is just dying to win a game on a three point shot going back to 7th game loss vs Boston in 2022. During his last shot all he had to do was step forward and he gets fouled by an oncoming Kuzma (3 point shot). Instead he steps back for the “Hero” shot and misses. Oh well.

P.S. Change the “do” Jimmy. You look rediculous!
there was no time left sun he had to heave it.if clunk robinson would have made his 3 oh well .
He had time to step back as though he were Steph. If he steps forward he gets fouled. Simple.
spos gotta work on these last second plays.ultimately its up to the players to score but more times than not its never anything toward the basket always a long shot.players fault or coaches fault?believe more on players who cant get to the hoop
The inconvenient truth has always been we aren’t quite good enough to contend. I knew the injuries excuse was right around the corner and now I am hearing it again. I promise you, lack of Kevin Love is not the issue. But, lack of Tyler Herro does impact us some, but probably not enough of to be a difference maker either. I saw it when we barely beat Utah, and then Detroit, that despite our improvements, they did not move the needle enough. Our GM tried to make us stronger and it helped some. Last year, Jimmy was able to put us on his back and Jimmy is still very good, but he just can’t carry us as much anymore. Can’t blame anyone that we are an average team, no better. This is our last hurrah with Jimmy, let’s enjoy it, see how far we get.
love was def making an impact last few games out of nowhere he looked like minn love he is def missed.tys scoring missed. no excuses u are who u are.an avg team w/o a super star anymore.does jimmy have a playoff run in him is the 64mill?
I am going to say this just once and then I will go back to trying to be part of the group. Sunman and Reality are the only two who consistently know what they are talking about. Sometimes you speak the truth too hfl, but not consistently. The rest of you just make ridiculous excuses. Try telling any other nba city fan that we lost to the Wizards because Love and Herro were sitting. You will get laughed at.
one game 30 anything can happen.in a playoff series no shot wash beats us
I’m sorry. I got honest for a second there. I have been laboring under the need for forced optimism in discussing this years team. I understand we all want to believe and I am no different. And I know you also don’t want to bring anyone down as these threads are really all about giving us a chance to root our Heat on. But, I have thought this was a slightly above average team all year despite last year. The biggest reason as been comparative scores and that has been consistent all year, even when you extrapolate the variables out, like injuries and schedule. Philly beat New York last night without their two most important players. The real me gets tired of the excuses and sees the reality of this team’s limitations. And, at the same time I am still rooting the Heat on.
this team depends on what jimmy we get in playoffs its that simple 30.
It seems that this site is full of optimists, with partial exception of you seeing things more as pessimist, and HFL seeing thing, lets say, randomly.
It a matter of character, and its nothing wrong with it.
I m well aware of team limitations, but also the team strengths, and I hope, that its enough for something good.
We will see soon enough.
30 never believed in this team until they had a good game or two.hes confused and to be honest so am i.really have to wait until playoffs guys and then we can see our team when it really matters
Honesty is good. The end of season result will show who the realists are and who the true denialists are. Like I said many times before, I am sitting back with blind optimism hoping the sun will rise at midnight on the equator.
The fun just started. The 9th and 10th teams believe they can get into the play in tournament.Suddenly there is a distinct possibility that the Heat could be a 9th seed and fighting to get into the play in tournament.
Lets go 8th seed lol
Season low.
Any idea how los is gonna be?
The only way is up.
Kyle Lowrie, a starter for Sixers, O’blimey!
It Is quite obvious that with 3 straight losses and Bam’s offensive struggles ,no one has stepped up their game to fill in the void. The Heat is missing Herro no doubt.
its like, the knicks deliberately lost to the sixers, and magic deliberately lost to pacers..so that we will be at 8th place and into the play-in tournament lol
knicks lose 79 73 wtf
heat for life

sunman didnt want kuzma ok
Dude, quit sayin I didn’t want Kuzma. I previously said I would trade Herro for him straight up His defense sucks now because he’s with a team that doesn’t play defense. He was pretty good defensively when he was with Lakers and they won it all against Heat in 2020. If you are going to quote me at least speak the truth. Don’t be making shit up.
https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask?q=nba+defensive+rating+kyle+kuzma2019-2020+season
hed be our 3rd best player sunman.i believe u said he was soft.
I knew he could play good team defense and score. If I had reservations, it was about his rebounding. I thought Collins might be a better fit because of his rebounding, if I had a choice.
I knew the Heat were serious and ready to play when I saw Jimmy with his Mickey Mouse hairdo. I don’t know which is worse, that or the Headbanger one.WTF? How TF did he leave the house looking like that. It ain’t Halloween. Instead of gaining a game on the Knicks and Magic, they dropped into 8th, falling behind 76ers and Pacers. Up next… Denver!
i think missing love who was balling out will help us alot.bam just aint big enough hes not a center never will be.hes such a 4 its not even funny
Just got home, I had the game recorded, but after seeing the score… didn’t even wanna watch the game smh. What a pathetic and embarrassing lost to one of WORST teams in the nba. 3 straight losses and might be 4th straight, when we play Denver. This loss pissed me off, idk what’s going on, but they need wake up, and figure it out. Soo much for having the 2nd easiest schedule.
after seeing 2 superstars luka and sga due to age and wear and tear dont believe we have one anymore.its hard to win w/o a ss is whats happening big.our ex ss shows flashes but not consistent ss minutes anymore.w/o jimmy balling out we are mediocre
Your right ,also it let’s me know that we’re not that good like we think we are without love and herro. Luckily we still have time to right the ship, knicks ,and sixers still hurting. If they wasn’t hurting, it would be worst for us.
loves size and savvy are missed.he was playing great when he got hurt.bam just to small to hold down the middle on the boards.jimmys just old now bam just suks now hopefully jim gets the fountain of youth in him and bam learns how to shoot.both of these guys have to be playing at their max level to have a chance versus good teams
At least, turtle “Kyle Lowrie” is not here to take the blame.
maybe riley should take the blame by paying his fat ass 30 mil
The Sixers finding him useful to be a starter, is a resounding statement over Lowry’s critics.
im at a loss for words
Yes, this is tough on the confidence. Hard to make excuses for this loss in a game we needed badly. All the usual suspects, tired team or injuries, they don’t hold water. But, can’t give up. Hopefully better days are ahead.
I guess Heat has a target on their backs for making it out of ecf last time so teams are playing better. Maybe they’re planning to get that 8th seed again lol
Loss vs the Wizards. 3 straight. This at home!!
Duncan had to miss like 5 wide open threes down the stretch. Impressive.
thats what hes paid to do .not play any d.if theres a worse defender in nba id find that hard to believe.with his d i wouldnt play him a second.for every pt he scores hes giving up 2pts
This is the biggest OUCH!!
Humiliating loss!!!!!
Yeah they should bicker and fight in the locker room for a needed fire.
flagrant?
My guess… they’re going for the win with a three 😳
great game 2 even teams lol
dunc scores 15 had led to prob 30 pts by wash
2 good players lots of avg players
Who are the good players? Bam rocking a -17, after a -18 against the Thunder and a -5 against the Mavericks…
bam jim thats it bam has track record
Well this team is about to be on a 4 game losing streak. They aren’t beating the Nuggets. Hopefully they can gather themselves for the back to back Piston games, but surely can’t count on it.
jimmy the mouseketeer lol
Butler Bam you gotta do ur thing. Heat losing to these Wizards is a new low. Still lots of time Go Heat!
Ugly performance. The players should be ashamed.
duncs d has been so bad jumps off the screen
Jovic playing very well, sent to the bench
yeah hes been good duncs been terrible
And no minutes for Wright, a very good defender and distributor
And almost no Highsmith
Hard to have confidence in Miami given the way the look in the regular season. Hope they turn it out in the playoffs again, but this isn’t a fun team to watch right now.
jim doing to many commercials and hairstyles
