We may be only one-and-a-half months removed from Miami Heat basketball, but that won’t stop us from looking forward to the 2024-25 Heat season, which begins in over four months!
Miami released its 2024-25 preseason home schedule Monday, where it will open against the Atlanta Hawks–who own the No. 1 overall pick–in exactly four months on Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Their other two home games inside Kaseya Center will be on Oct. 13 (3:30 p.m. EST) against the New Orleans Pelicans and Oct. 15 (7:30 p.m. EST) against the San Antonio Spurs.
According to the press release, the preseason home tickets–which can be purchased by logging on to HEAT.com or Ticketmaster.com–will go on sale Wednesday at 2 p.m. EST. All Heat home games are mobile entry only.
The complete preseason and regular season schedules will be released at later dates.
Miami played in five preseason games last year against the Charlotte Hornets, Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets; it also played in five preseason contests in 2022-23. Thus, expect (at least) two road games to be announced at later dates, even though it’s unclear who those two teams currently are.
