Christopher, who concluded last season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat’s G-League affiliate, averaged 16.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals in eight combined Summer League games with the Heat.
He shot 50.5 percent from the floor, 48.8 from 3-point range while sinking all 18 of his free-throw attempts. His 68.2 effective field goal percentage and 72.0 true-shooting percentage ranked No. 4 and 2 on the team, respectively.
Christopher earned the Summer League Finals MVP after tallying 24 points on 9-of-17 shooting and 6-of-10 from 3-point range in the winning effort. He also scored 20 points in the fourth quarter alone–23 in total–on July 15 against the Oklahoma City Thunder while conjuring a pair of other 20-point performances against the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors (semifinals).
The former first-round pick is still younger (22) than Heat second-year forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. (23), despite getting drafted in 2021 by the Houston Rockets. Christopher has appeared in 138 career NBA games (four starts), posting 6.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 15.4 minutes on 45.5/27.7/74.0 shooting splits.
Pullin, an undrafted signee in 2024 NBA Draft, was underwhelming in Summer League after inking a two-way contract upon signing. He averaged 5.9 points and 1.9 assists in 14.5 minutes across nine games. He can still remain in Miami’s system with the Sioux Falls Skyforce should another team not scoop him up.

He may be fill in the defensive void of Caleb Martin and be a 3 point threat from the perimeter.
About time lol, his elite trait coming in will be shot making, and the D is Solid too, and can use him if jrich gets hurt .
This, to me, is excellent news! Christopher is a super athlete and scorer who has potential to be a solid defender. When you consider the Heat got Ware, Pelle, Keshad, and now Christopher, t give the Heat credit, despite the naysayers.
Good signings!
Let’s all hope and root for big contributions from those guys in the coming season. If no trade/s happens for Ty and Dunc they should be pressured to perform. And almost forgot, Jimmy also.
Christopher definitely earned a spot. Some of Miami’s strange deals this off season have left them in a weird spot, but glad they managed to retain Christopher.
