The Miami Heat’s 2024-25 schedule has been released

The time has finally arrived!

With the preseason and In-Season Tournament schedule having already been released,  the full 2024-25 regular season schedule was released Thursday afternoon!

As we went over here, the Miami Heat will open the 2024-25 campaign against Orlando Magic on Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Miami will cap off the regular season against the Washington Wizards at 1:00 p.m. EST on April 13.

After having 13 back-to-backs last year and 14 in 2022-23, the Heat will have 15 this year, beginning with a road-home Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers back-to-back on Nov. 17-18. Here is their back-to-back count by month:

• November: 2
• December: 4
• January: 2
• February: 3
• March: 3
• April: 1

Miami will only have seven combined nationally televised games on Disney (ESPN/ABC network) and Turner (TNT) networks this season after 16 in 2023-24; it has zero games on ABC this season. The Heat will have six additional games on NBA TV, their first being Nov. 2 against Washington in Mexico City.

Miami’s only two scheduled TNT games this year will be against the Milwaukee Bucks. It will play on Nov. 26 for Group B play in the In-Season Tournament and on Jan. 23 during “Rivals Week.”

The Heat’s have a pair of six-game road trips in November and January, respectively. Here’s who they face for each trip.

• November 6-17: Suns, Nuggets, Timberwolves, Pistons, Pacers (twice)
• January 6-15: Kings, Warriors (second night of B2B), Jazz, Blazers, Clippers, Lakers

That November one is a tough stretch, which comes on the heels of five of their first six either at home or in neutral-site locations.

The Heat have just three home games in the month of February: Boston (Feb. 10), Atlanta (Feb. 26) and Indiana (Feb. 28). They will have 12 of their 17 inside Kaseya Center for the month of March, however.
