What were the observations by you guys, good and otherwise?
Biggest observations for me was Herro looks stronger and maybe can improve his defense like his favorite player booker. Also dru Smith defense and passing took a jump, and will probably hold off Stevens and pullin for the last 2 way spot.
Yay!
Payton was a big bust .
Good grief, up by 20, now tied????
The little project looks like a fail so far.
Ware’s vert presence is just nuts and it’s early but Pelle seems quite switchable. Hoping for Keshad minutes
Zyon’s due for skyforce seasoning and rough start to the Nassir Little experiment
I really like Christopher, but he is still a little raw. I think the more NBA player is Keshad.
Sometimes he makes a bone-headed plays, I think he’s good value on a two-way though
I think he has huge potential. Pure athlete and aggressive.
I agree with you guys. I wasn’t sold about Dru over Stevens, or even Pullin. If he earns the spot, good for him!
I wanted Stevens over him, but dru playing well already has solid to good defense, and has 5 or 6 assists, but his shot has to continue to get better.
Shot needs a lot of work agreed
Thomas Bryant always gives his all
Larsson in for Miami and Cain in for Pels. Nassir Little minutes too. He looks long
Dru Smith is pesky I still can’t say I’m sold but he does a lot of little things that impact outside the box score. I stupidly bought the opposite narrative last season but he doesn’t get enough credit
Dru Smith trying to put a lock on his roster spot over stevens.
Am I seeing things or are we setting a notably greater amount of corner screens
I think it might be a new wrinkle in spo in offense.
You might be right. Will be paying attention
Didn’t see it at all with the third unit, but I don’t know seemed really intentional with the first two
Wow Bryant playing very well.
Miami heat runs on Duncan !
dru smith looks tenacious
with all these high flying athletes dont see how dunc can survive out there
His 39.8% career 3’s might help him survive. Can any of those “athletes” put up those numbers? I think not. His defense is better than it was in the past.
thomas bryant over ware really spobot
butler def has to adjust his game due to father time.hope hes still a top 20 player forget about being a superstar anymore.if ty could play average d.hes borderline all star player
if ty can stay healthy we can compete with ny bost phily, not really or really?
That is an amazing view of what I think is the Miami River area. Looks more like Hong Kong. Miami is no longer the sleepy southern town of my youth.
lots of tall modern looking buildings.
Thank you for your comments since I can’t watch it today.
YouTube highlights.
stronger ty just what dr ordered
Terry looks mid season form .
dejonte murray so smooth wish we had him
BAM SLAM !
The boy wonder making a play defensively and offensively, gotta love the progression .
Ty looks good. He is putting in the work in the offseason. He could be ready for a big year.
Terry looks like a true third option. If Terry stays healthy, maybe more than a play-in team.
Both comments sound encouraging
Thanks. The truth is, you can’t just be pretty good in the nba. You have to have some aspect of your game that is almost great. It’s so competitive, probably with higher standards and more competition than any other pro sport, at least in America.
Agreed, I’m really happy with the pickup and I feel like over the off-season people weren’t considering his potential impact enough. Nice to have someone with athletic finishing at the rim
ty looks like a pf
Dru been playing some good defense.
Highsmith may be making his case for starting pf.
He’s sharpened up on offense, I remember this time around last year in preseason.
While I absolutely believe Jovic will continue to improve, Highsmith gives you greater defense and if he makes shots, that may be a better option.
He’s rushed a couple times on offense so far, but I agree. Small sample size but his finishing looked polished. Niko only played a few minutes to be fair but didn’t further his case, think he was like 0/3
And I say, I would love it to be otherwise, but I am not so certain. Just another observer’s opinion, and only that.
better option that shnozic
Duncan reiterating his variety. Looked comfortable handling the rock and driving there. Had chances to kick out too
Let’s go heat
Jovic – 3 early rebounds – good
Jovic – 3 early missed shots – bad
Will follow online. On the road again.
Let’s go Heat!
