Instead of reportedly wanting to get moved “anywhere other than Miami,” Heat star Jimmy Butler may not be willing to play anywhere outside of Miami.
According to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the Memphis Grizzlies and multiple other NBA teams indicated that they shouldn’t acquire Butler.
Steam behind the Memphis Grizzlies being a potential Butler destination perked up earlier this week, according to Arizona Sports’ 98.7 FM Phoenix’s John Gambadoro.
Memphis is one of the best teams in a very loaded Western Conference, and has been a consolidation trade away to really putting themselves over the top with Ja Morant and Desmond Bane.
According to Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor, the Bucks were also informed not to trade for the 35-year-old, who’s currently serving a seven-game suspension for multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team over the last several weeks.
Butler’s been very outspoken about being wanted (paid), so it’s interesting to see him reject two possible postseason suitors who may want (pay) him. Though there may only be one team that will be willing to pay him: The Phoenix Suns.
Miami won’t take back Bradley Beal, so the Suns would have to have to a find third team–even though there are a select few he’d waive it for. The Suns are also unable to aggregate salary because they are a second-apron team, making any trade involving Butler more complicated.
If that’s the case: Will Miami do right by their star? Will they send him to his “preferred” location? We shall see!

Can’t find joy in playing basketball but apparently finds joy in being a pendejo.
Of course this will happen. With his past history with other teams,Other organizations are hesitant.
and now with his recent spectacle, Heat are having a hard time getting good deals since it nows feels like other Teams are doing the Heat the favor of getting rid of Jimmy Butler and the Heat doesnt have the high ground to ask for a great deal.
