GAME PREVIEW: Miami travels to the Windy City looking to pick up back-to-back wins

After a free days off following the Miami Heat’s thrilling victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night, it is game day once again. Miami will travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bulls for the second of their four-game road trip.

The Bulls will be sporting a slightly new-look roster since their Sunday night trade of Zach LaVine. They are in the midst of losing seven of their last 10 games— sitting at the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference at a 21-29 record overall.

Chicago’s Nikola Vucevic, who is putting up some career-high numbers, is still somebody to keep an eye on with the scouting report.

Despite the Heat’s rocky month of January filled with off the court drama and tough losses, they reclaimed the East’s sixth seed after the win versus San Antonio. Bam Adebayo’s 30/12/9 near triple-double statline on 62% shooting was capped off with a game winning buzzer-beater. The big man has started to string together some dominant All-Star caliber outings as of late.

Over the last four games, he has put up 23.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals. He is also doing so on some elite shooting efficiency, sporting 58/50/85 splits and 68.6% true shooting during that span.

After the Spurs matchup, Adebayo spoke postgame about his up and down 2024-25 season and noted how important it’s been to stay on track throughout the struggles.

Another important thing to note has been Terry Rozier’s solid play off the bench recently. The current Heat sixth man is coming off a terrific 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists outing on 50% shooting. When he is providing this sort of impact, ‘Scary Terry’ can be a game changer for Miami.

Can the Heat take down the Bulls and snag back-to-back wins? Find out tonight at 8:00 PM EST on FanDuel Sports Network Sun!

Great opportunity to get back-to-back wins. Hopefully Bam and Terry keep it up and Ware can transform and howl at the moon. That’s the key to the W. Herro will get his, not worried about him.
