I’m no conspiracy theorist, but I’m wondering if “quiet quitting” is infectious? Is Spo burned out or is he trying to pull a Monty Williams (the former Detroit coach) by coaching so poorly that he gets fired, thus requiring Miami to pay him the rest of his $120M contract? Does he also possibly have his eyes on the San Antonio job if Pop isn’t able to return next season from his stroke? Inquiring minds want to know.

heatforlife

we are one wemby away from being a good team.

SunManFromDogBone

Then we need to get in the lottery and get lucky like Atlanta did last year when they went from 11th pick to 1st. Those two 2025 draft picks are like gold. Miami can get real creative via recruitment, draft or trade.

The guys need to put yesterday in the rearview mirror and bust their butts the rest of the season, so the team can be in a warrior state of mind when the postseason begins, ready to do battle, win or lose!

From here on out it shouldn’t be about wins and losses. It’s should be about everyone getting comfortable with each other and the system. This is the time for the guys to gel as a team.

At this point in a very long season, the finish line is not too far ahead. The question is, do you want to go out on your shield or on your butt? When you go into battle, hold your head high and give it all you’ve got.

heatforlife

hes not coaching his use of personnel has always been ?

Zac

Without Jimmy Miami’s record would be 16-23. Or the 8 the worst winning percentage in the league.

Honestly with how far they are from having a competitive roster, they should see if they can off load Bam for a boat load of first round picks, rather than waste his prime years on this dead franchise.

Hothothoopsfan4life

100% agree on trading bam and getting picks also not opposed to seeing the new market for herro being he’s an all star now and what that would look like

At this point every loss is a good loss. This team is embarrassing and has no business in the playoffs, and each loss improves their shot at keeping a lottery pick.

That said the fact that they are continuing to try and win and lose in every way imaginable is yet another failure for this organization.

This last year or so Heat Culture died

Jimmy talked about the playoff performance when not playing
Pat scolded Jimmy publicly, versus behind closed doors
They unveiled the embarrassing Wade statue
They destroyed any trade value Jimmy had by not getting in front of it.
When trading Jimmy, they failed to free up cap room, bringing in players with multiple years left on their deals.

And rather than recognize early that this team has no business in the playoffs, they won too much early and are still trying at this point.

Just compounding failure of this organization.

And pretty sure we’re gonna hear from Pat about ‘running it back’, because they basically have no other choice.

Fire everyone.

heatforlife

scolding him publically coaches gms never do that never .2 great posts 1 more than usual

SunManFromDogBone

If Miami (29-36) was in the Western Conference, it would be in 12th place, 3.5 games behind 10th place (33-33) Dallas.

heatforlife

dont forget their in by far the worse division

SunManFromDogBone

The season before Dragic was traded from Phoenix to Miami (2014), the Suns went 48-34 and missed the playoffs by one game. In the Eastern Conference this year, two teams may make it into the playoffs with losing records while two Western Conference teams with winning records might not make it in to the playoffs at all. Go figure. Who said life was fair?

You can’t have a 4th quarter collapse if you’ve trailed the whole game. So there’s that. Again, no Keshad Johnson.

heatforlife

how bout a game collapse

SunManFromDogBone

Or a mental collapse. Y’all gonna make me lose my mind, up in here, up in here.
