Coming off a record-setting performance Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Miami Heat return home for one final time this season against the Washington Wizards Sunday afternoon inside Kaseya Center.
Both teams will be without many of their regular rotation players today. For the Heat specifically, they will be without both Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro due to rest, plus Andrew Wiggins, Alec Burks and Pelle Larsson.
The Heat are looking to cap off their 2024-25 season by winning nine of their final 12 for the second time since 2012-13. Do you think they will accomplish that against the tanking Wizards? Let us know in the comments!

If an NBA team opts to keep a player by exercising their team option, the player’s contract extends for another year, and he does not become a free agent.
If the team declines the option, the player becomes a free agent.
If the team exercises the option without negotiating an extension, the player becomes a free agent after the option year.
Keshad Johnson today:
If the Heat felt Johnson was worthy of a regular NBA contract earlier this season, why in TF didn’t they give him a chance to compete for a rotation spot as they did Ware and Larsson??? Johnson is obviously a better scorer and rebounder than either Highsmith or Larsson and the Heat has needed more scoring and rebounding all season long.
If Miami does not negotiate an equitable extension with Johnson this summer, I can see him becoming a free agent at the end of next season and signing elsewhere. If he does walk, I can see him blossoming into a very good player for whatever team signs him.
What mismanagement!!! What a waste!!!
I researched the potential draft pick race between us and the Suns. With a Heat loss and Suns win, we would have the same record. First tiebreaker is head to head and we split. Next tiebreaker is conference record and they were worse than us. So, nothing changes. If we don’t make the playoffs, they pick 10, we pick 11.
Damn they choked
Yay Jaquez 41!
He really wants to be in the rotating 8 discussion. His playing style doesnt really fit or sync with the starters.
Unscary terry is missing all his shots alongside christopher but i can give Josh an excuse.HH ,I like you but your also not hitting most of your shot.
Time for Ware to dominate and secure all rookie 1st selection and for Keshad Johnson to prove that he will be in the rotation next season.
Let’s go youngens!
