The Miami Heat look to avoid their third-ever sweep on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. We went 1-1 in our best bets on Saturday (one was voided). Should the Heat get swept, let’s end the season on a high note!

Without further ado, here are our best bets ahead of Cavaliers-Heat on Monday!

(Note: All odds are courtesy of Fanduel Sportsbook!)

Andrew Wiggins u23.5 PRA (-114):

It’s been a surprisingly bad series for Andrew Wiggins, who was one of my X-Factors heading into the series. He’s recorded 14 PRA in each of his last two games after 22 in Game 1. I believe Erik Spoelstra will ride with the hot hand in a do-or-die situation, and I don’t think that will necessarily be Wiggins if his poor play continues.

Davion Mitchell o18.5 PTS+AST (-114):

If this (Miami Heat) ship is going into the ground, I will die playing Davion Mitchell overs–this line has hit in each of his last 12 with 33-plus minutes. Why stop now? You know the rules.

Donovan Mitchell o25.5 PTS (-114):

Donovan Mitchell oddly attempted only 14 shots and scored just 13 points in Game 3. They didn’t need him to put the team on his back minus Darius Garland, all things considered. Though Mitchell exceeded this line in each of his previous four and six of his last seven against the Heat.

In those seven games, he averaged 20.4 shot attempts, including 19 and 21 in Games 1 and 2, respectively. When he’s taken at least 19 shots, he’s exceeded this line 72 percent of the time this season, including in 15 of his last 19 games. I think he does so again on Monday.

SGP (+647):

  • Bam Adebayo Double-Double
  • Tyler Herro o2.5 3PT
  • Evan Mobley u29.5 PRA
  • Cavaliers ML

At this point, does anyone have any guts?

“Donovan Mitchell oddly attempted only 14 shots and scored just 13 points in Game 3.”

Correction. Mitchell scored 16 points on 11 shots in game 3. In the 3 playoff games, he has scored 18, 18 and 16 points (average 17.33 per game).

Note: Wiggins has scored 14, 10 and 10 points in the 3 games (average 11.33 per game).

Reality Czech

The first quoted part is Donovan. The correction part is Davion.
