The 2025 NBA Draft, which begins on June 25, is less than three weeks away!

Ahead of this year’s two-day event, the Miami Heat own just one pick in the draft: No. 20 overall. No, I don’t want to rehash that they were in a position to own two picks before becoming the first team in NBA History to win two consecutive play-in games on the road. But they were, and the slot they would’ve had (11th) at the end of the regular season went to the Dallas Mavericks, who became the first team in over three decades to leap 10 spots for the No. 1 pick.

Anyway, Miami’s 20th pick is the lowest it’s had since they drafted Nikola Jovic No. 27 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. That is assuming they keep their pick, of course.

This is our second-straight year tracking players who have reportedly worked out, or are scheduled to work out with the Heat (check out last year’s here!). They are a tight-lip organization, but, as always, we will try to track every prospect they are planning to work out below:

I haven’t heard of some of the players. It looks like the Heat are working out players who may not get drafted in order to get a leg up to sign them after the draft. It’s also possible they may be seeking 2nd round picks as part of any proposed deals they are considering for players on expiring contracts.
