Butler is only a good player if “Playoff Jimmy” shows up. Not the joke who showed up last year in “Emo/Ball out Boy” or “Mickey Mouse Buns” hairdos and slacked his way through the 2024-2025 season. Not the one who took games off and played at 50% during several others. Not the one who egotistically bragged that Miami would have beaten New York and Boston if he had only been healthy…then having the audacity to ask for a maximum contract extension. If that asshole shows, I hope they trade him immediately. With all due respect.

I know he’s a PG and Christopher isn’t, but that Dru Smith deal looks bad every second someone like Christopher is out there making plays.
We could still replace Dru with Christopher and replace pullin with a pure pg Stevens.
The Smith deal makes no sense whatsoever! No team is going to offer him anything. I do hope they open his spot for Christopher.
Andy ellisburg was there watching too, and udonis helped him get on to the summer league team, so they got no excuses to not open up the spot for him, but we’re gonna find out what they’re gonna do eventually, but I agree that Smith deal didn’t make any sense.
