Coming off two days rest, the Miami Heat look to secure a season-sweep over the San Antonio Spurs Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. EST inside Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The Heat won their first meeting over San Antonio earlier this month 128-107. It was the first game this season that Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra opted to play the double-big lineup of Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware extended run against Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama. Lo and behold, Miami outscored San Antonio 72-38 in the middle two quarters and 82-66 in the second half–led by Ware, who had 25 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 34 minutes.

The Heat dropped back to .500 Wednesday with a 126-106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers while San Antonio improved to 21-24 Friday with a 26-point win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Entering Friday, however, the Spurs were just victors in two of their previous 10 games.

Miami has been excellent on two-plus days rest this season, going 8-3; meanwhile, San Antonio has not been good on the second leg of back-to-backs, going 2-4. Saturday marks the first of nine of the next 10 away from home, including four straight against Chicago, Philadelphia and Brooklyn.

Can the Heat start this road-trip off on the right note? Let us know in the comments!
