After another disappointing result Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Miami Heat are seeking a bounce-back victory against the Chicago Bulls on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Heat dropped to four games below .500 for the second time season Friday, losing 106-104 to Minnesota. That all came in spite of Bam Adebayo’s 29-point, 13-rebound double-double and Tyler Herro’s valiant effort over the final three quarters, where he scored 20 of his 22 points.
With 19 games left in their season, the Chicago Bulls have all but locked up the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference. Miami, meanwhile, is fighting with the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic for seeds Nos. 7-9 in the play-in chase.
Chicago is coming off a remarkable 125-123 win against Orlando on Thursday. Coby White posted a game-high 44 points on 16-of-28 shooting and 7-of-15 from beyond the arc. Over his last 15 games, White is averaging 20.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists on 43.2 percent shooting, including 38.0 percent from 3-point range.
The Bulls bested the Heat in their first matchup of the season 133-124 on Feb. 4. Will Miami get back on track and even the season series? Time will tell!

We do need to win this game and the games left that we should win. The Bulls beat Orlando, who is about on a par with us, last game. So, take it seriously. Hopefully we will have a less long injury list. Doesn’t it seem like it is exceptionally long every year?
I’m interested in who is available and who is out. If you are out, better be honing your shooting skills while you are out. Catch and shoot, 3 pts, mid range, under the rim, anywhere range. That is what the Heat needs most going forward.
We won’t know how good this year’s team can be until we get everybody back healthy and playing together a few games. For today ‘s game, it looks like Wiggins, Herro, Burks and Ware MAY be playing. We’ll know more about Jovic’s status in a couple of weeks. His estimated return is late March
bost cleve ny better we need a ss all those teams have ss or 2,
Okay, if there is going to be a turning point this season, it’s this five game homestand. Herro and Jamie are back (what’s up with Wiggins?), the Bulls stink, and the Heat are safely nuzzled into the 7-seed for now. Let’s see what this team can do!
