The Miami Heat return home to host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday in Game 3 of their first-round series of the 2024-25 NBA Postseason.

After going 3-0 in Game 2, we had a 2-2 split with Wednesday’s best bets. As a result, we drop to 9-4 since the start of the play-in. Let’s get back on track and not waste any more time! Here are our three best bets ahead of Cavaliers-Heat on Saturday!

Davion Mitchell o17.5 PTS+AST (-130):

We’re running this back more than Miami has run back its core over the last six years. We hit this number once again on Wednesday and Mitchell has exceeded his number in 11 straight with at least 33 minutes, averaging 10.3 field goal attempts and 13.5 potential assists over that span. I love this number once again–even in a matinee game where there’s the risk of the game starting out sluggish.

Darius Garland o5.5 AST (-140):

I don’t love eating this kind of value, but I will for this play anyway. Garland had nine assists on 13 potentials on Wednesday and has exceeded this line in eight of his last 10 and 12 of his last 16 in games where he’s played 28-33 minutes. In four os his last six games against Miami, he’s recorded at least 10 potentials. When he’s reached that benchmark, he’s recorded at least six assists in 13 of his last 14 and 19 of his last 22.

Andrew Wiggins o16.5 PTS (-102):

This is my buy-low for Game 3. Has Wiggins been good this series? No, he’s been underwhelming. He only played in 28 minutes on Wednesday, but I am expecting the former All-Star to get 35-plus minutes on Saturday, barring any foul trouble. The Cavaliers surrender the fifth-most points to small forwards and the 11th-most points to power forwards. He’s hoisted 21 combined shots in the series, but I think this is a spot where he gets up at least 13 (34-41 hit rate this season, 23 of last 26).

SGP (+805):

  • Tyler Herro o2.5 3PM
  • De’Andre Hunter 10+ PTS
  • Bam Adebayo 20+ PTS
  • Evan Mobley u29.5 PRA

Let’s have a Saturday!
