Udonis Haslem to join Amazon as analyst

Former longtime Miami Heat veteran Udonis Haslem will join Amazon Prime TV for their NBA coverage for the 2025-26 season, the network announced Monday. Haslem will be joining Wade, in addition to Candace Parker, Stan Van Gundy, Blake Griffin, Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki, among others.

The former 20-year Heat veteran has been with the Heat organization as a vice president of basketball development for the last two seasons since his retirement. Though he officially joined ESPN as a full-time analyst in January, where he made appearances with Stephen A. Smith on First Take, in addition to NBA Today, SportsCenter and Get Up.

Haslem, 44, becomes the latest former player to be a part of the upcoming coverage for the NBA–as well as Wade, who was a part of Turner Sports (TNT) from 2019-22 and the Olympic coverage last summer.

The NBA signed an 11-year, $76 billion media rights deal last year with ESPN, NBCUniversal (NBC, Peacock) and Amazon Prime. Amazon became a regular feature for the NFL and MLB regular season coverage over the last several years, so it only makes sense that it’s dipping its toes into the NBA with streaming becoming very prominent in today’s society.
