One game does not make a career. He’s a fair shooter. Numbers don’t lie dude, no matter what you try to say. It’s black and white. He was never a high percentage shooter. But he’s certainly better from distance than what he showed tonight. It’s not my opinion, it’s the numbers, pure and simple.
Yes agreed, he’s not one of the best, but always shot at league average or close to it beyond the arc. You already know hfl lives from game to game sample size lol.

He played well, he just shot terrible from 3, and messed up on that last possession for us. Hopefully he get his 3 pt shot back .
i don’t know enough about his game. He shot multiple airballs and had a back-breaking turnover late. He also had a great steal and 3-pointer at one point.
But regardless of what he’s good at or bad at, I will repeat what I said to start. That dude hasn’t played a big game since pre-pandemic. All of a sudden, he gets traded from a last place team and is playing the last minute of an NBA Finals rematch.
After what I saw from J-Rich, I trust the Heat organization to coach him up and get him ready for big moments in the future. But he looked overwhelmed tonight.
He also helped to bring the Heat back with some nifty drives. I don’t think he looked overwhelmed at all.
I’m not ready to make any declarative statements about Terry. I did it with J-Rich and I was proven wrong. I agree that he showed a lot of talent tonight. But I was texting with a friend about him looking overwhelmed before he puked all over himself in the last minute 4th quarter.

Me too. Rozier does a lot of things to help even when his shot is not falling. I do wish he shot a better percentage from outside as it is seeming like that isn’t a strong part of his game, even though it is still early to fully assess. But, there were other factors, such as other guys not being there, and some of our better players having off nights. Hopefully when Ty and JRich return, he will have a more defined role, one more about assists, defense, and most importantly, breaking down defenses, penetrating, and scoring in close.
Maybe an off-season with our shooting coach will get him shooting better from 3 like Jimmy this year. Hopefully when jrich and herro come back, rozier shot chart could mirror dwade, in the aspect of taking more shots closer to the basket. Also instead of him shooting 8 3s, he could take 4-5.
yeah, i’m less worried about him becoming a better 3-point shooter, i just think the needs to find his role with this team, and that will take time. Hopefully he gets into a better rhythm by the playoffs. I think he’ll definitely get there next season. Kevin Love is probably our best recent comparison.
I was just going to say something similar, that, as with other players who came her from other teams, the Heat help them improve, be it body fat, defense, shooting.

Nah, he would of helped tonight, especially from beyond the arc. We only made 7 3s, if herro played he would of made up for rozier airballs.
Pay no mind to that. He’s a Herro hater, Spo hater, and at various times, has been a Duncan hater, Highsmith hater, and others. With all that hot air, he could be filling up those balloons in New Mexico, lol.

I worry more about the Heat nowadays. Still, feel like not having our guys equaled their not having Murray. And then we had a poor shooting night. Just enough to lose to a good team. We just got to move on.

Nope. As I have previously told you, if you looked at his stats, you’d know that he was not a high percentage shooter in his career. He’s a scorer, a very good assist to turnover guy, and a decent rebounder. And 12 games in is not a big enough sample size, especially coming off an injury.
