An optimistic view on everything is, that we are actually lucky to get two more games in play in, and then 7 games in each series after that.
This team just have to suffer to go achieve something.
But such attitude is paid with shorter lives of fans loosing nerves, furniture to be destroyed, neighbours to be frightening by unarticulated screaming of people watching those games.
So, a 10 games long winning streak would makes a lot of people happy.
That game was hideous! Head; illness? WTF is that? Inquiring minds want to know!

For real… this story got old 3 weeks ago
Man, with Jimmy and what we had tonite, we have a team good enough to win. This one soured me a little on Jimmy, whether right over wrong. I know it’s possible he could go out last night and get sick today, but there is just enough doubt for me to start to wonder about his level of commitment, speaking strictly of this moment, not before. Hope this doesn’t turn out to be a trend.
We’ve all had a colleague at one time or another that we run into some evening and they’re having a grand time, and the next day we learn they called in sick. You can’t help but wonder, especially with a description of head illness. Like I said earlier, is that a headache? Hangover? Head cold? If Zo could play with a transplanted kidney, it seems to me Butler could have played. I’d feel a lot different if we had locked up our seed already, but we’re struggling to keep out of the play-in.
If it was just Jimmy wouldn’t worry about it. They’ve been sitting half the team since the all-star break, and there’s only two weeks left in the season. Do you trust this team to be healthy for multiple weeks of playoff basketball? I’m seeing way too much Patty Mills and DW4 to believe this team can beat anyone in the playoffs.
Mills has been awful. Delon not much better. It’s unlikely that we’ll end up any lower than 8th. If we end up in either there or 7, and if Embiid returns for the play-in, I think we’ll have a problem. If we lose that game, we’ll be in the same situation as last season – win or go home. While lightening may strike twice, it’s not the type of odds I would put my hard earned money on. And if we win, we’ll have the privilege of playing the Celtics. They’ve had a great season.
I don’t think the Heat look like they could beat the Magic right now, and I call Orlando the JV team! We’re two weeks away from the playoffs and they’re playing some of their worst basketball of the season. Even if guys come back before the playoffs, do they have enough time to gel?
Delon was never gna drop 25 for us. He is reliable on d tho. Bam, delon, haywood, and healthy caleb are what will get us some winnable rock fights if we make it to the big games
To me, that strong defensive team with Jimmy and Bam, that is our best chance to do some damage in the play in, hard to see us getting much further. The only good thing about last night was that HH has moved up a notch in quality.
If we don’t make 6th, at least we can be sure there’s literally no way we can sit out way out of the play in lol

Have you even watched the game? Jovic was at least decent, I would say even better than most that played last night. Rozier, Martin, JJJ all were worse. I would say only Bam and Highsmith were better.
His defence is much better than on the start of the season. His shooting is there, he will never be that much of a off the dribble shooter due to his size but as spot up shooter, he is as good as anyone.
His playmaking, considering his size and age is great and he will get better. Just check the first 2 season of Nikola Jokic, there were a lot of doubters like you and he is a future HOF now.
Not saying Jovic is that much of a talent, but he is talented player, on a great contract for the Heat.
