when u have a bona fide ss in his prime and u dont get him enough help thats on pat.look what the bucs did for brady and the jets are trying to do that for rodgers rams did it for stafford u mortgage the future and go for it.ty dunc jjj jovic should have all been traded for so and so second star.bam can not be your second best player .if we fall short this year, which we prob will its time to think of the future aka trade our aging ss for youngens or picks.jimmy we thank u for your time here but pat failed u .he never got u that pf c type two wayer and he never got u a 2 way small .if u had one of 2 or both of the above i would have been able to meet rc manila big on biscayne blvd in june.in that case better i didnt meet rc on bisc blvd good job pat lol
This is good stuff. I am going to write about what I really think one of these days, about the route Pat has taken, and how the Heat are different from any other team in the league that is not rebuilding. I understand it and it has been successful so it’s hard to criticize but it is predicated on having a great player to carry too much of the load. It worked a couple times, but it won’t work if that player loses any efficiency. What I will write about will have comments about third rail subjects that need to be discussed, fairly, rationally, and openly. It is coming, but only after the season plays out.
Miami is not built to beat Indiana.
Its just the way it is..
I’m not surprised. There are teams we have trouble with, that we don’t match up well with. The Sixers and the Nets(when they aren’t tanking), are two others, amongst several.
Well, to quote the great Bill Parcells, “you are what your record says you are”
Then again, to quote the great Papi LeBatard “the Heat are going to win it all!”
To quote Dennis Green: “They are who we thought they were.”
To quote the best of them all – Anonymous: “You are who you are because that’s what you are.”
😁😂😅
I’m not surprised, I said all along we are a 45-37 team, and a first round exiter. I hope I am wrong about that. I did not know then about the coming acquisition of Rozier, and how good he turned out to be, a low A- player, and he is the reason it is possible we get past the first round.
Best starting lineup: Rozier, Herro, Butler, Martin, Bam?
this could work against the celtics since they dont have any dominant bigs (porzingis rarely posts)
That is definitely better than what we are using.
ooop i forgot…its sad again here in HHH =(
It is not sad here on HHH!!! Not when you have great upbeat people like hfl and and……….
Wow, suddenly I’m feeling sad…..😂😂😂😂😂
Bwahahaha!!
It’s been a struggle this season between rose colored glass optimists and the realists. There is an underlying premise, almost an unwritten rule, that we are supposed to be cheering our team on here. And I get it, it hurts a little to criticize players who are giving their all and also are winning slightly more than losing. And last year has us really confused because it was so improbable, but it happened. Could it happen again, it’s unlikely, but until we lose out we are going to have a little hope. But, we also are losing to almost all the good teams, so that reality creeps in too, and at some point can’t be denied. Reality is often much less pleasant than optimism, but there is an obvious need for its discussion here as long as the criticism isn’t laid on too thick or is unfairly negative.
They tried but defense was loose, JJJ was most liable. He lost his man several times who got open and knocked down 3s.
8th seed, It is what it is. Same, old same, no surprise there.
Let’s Go Heat!
I still love to hope but can lightning strike twice? That Heat repeats their run with 3% chance or even less? I believe this season’s team is a better iteration from last. But several opponents in east got better too. A lot better. If Miami improved by 10%, Celts by 30, Knicks maybe 20 and so Magic and Pacers also. Cavs stayed put imo. Milw meh. Lots of chances this Heat bunch spoiled during this regular season. RC already pointed that out. If they sweep this last four, maybe they can win one more and get that 7th. Or other teams above them drops their games and miraculously Heat still get 6th
This team is better than last except in the most important way, our best player, who was a low A+ level superstar, with the only players better in their prime being Giannis or LeBron types, appears to only be a high A player now. And it seems to me he showed more in the regular season last year (or one could say, coasted less) than he has this year. So, it does not bode well for the postseason although one never knows until it plays out. You can’t be sure, but it sure looks like Jimmy is at 90-95% of his prime. One thing I noticed, is Jimmy is driving a little less, getting less foul shots. And that is a big deal, because Jimmy will go into the hall of fame and carried us by getting fouled on drives to the basket. Jimmy is great in so many ways, but the drive to the basket and making the foul shots was where he shined the most.
were at 8th seed again…(insert celtics perspiring profusely meme here)
Well according to their fans…bring ’em on!
I say be careful what you wish for
Bad News: 76ers 133 Spurs 126 in OT. Heat offically all alone in 8th place.
Good news: If Miami was in Western Conference would be .5 game out of 10th place.
Mark your calendars: The Play-In Round is Tuesday, April 16 – Friday, April 19.
liked the fight from the team change that fkn starting lineup its not working
Lets go 7th seed!
sixers have won 5 in a row hmmm, they can def beat boston along with us.think milw just to much father time on that roster
I still dnt trust 6ers in playoffs along with Cavs
133 126 phil 1 22 left
hh 19 mins takes one fkn shot
That’s one thing I don’t like about him, he hesitates too much.
hes got no confidence in his offensive game which he does have.hes always looking to pass.hes got blow by skills and a decent j.cant play 19 mins take one shot thats not gonna cut it
Oh wait…lets go Spurs! Lol
double ot no joel maxey 52 pts
So play-in is it? Good fight back. Oh well…
playin stupid still dont get it top 8 teams better f this bs adam
the seasons over and spos talking about teaching points lol
their ss was off and they still one
Still one what?
won my bad
Okay
we needed two win with halib shotputting 30 ft bricks
ty heat and pacers for a great fn game
How many times have I heard you say “we lost?” We lost a crucial game. It only would’ve been great if we won..
it sucks we lost but a great fkn game.the comeback the will of jimmy.aggessive niko.ty herro shots.great entertaining game
Regardless of how competitive it was, and how exciting the comeback was, it is still a critical loss. It is a loss that could contribute to closing the book on this season. Do you think I should be excited about that?
i feel better about our team after this game i saw jimmy really care from start to end that is the first time that could be said this year.that first unit with dunc and jovic gotta change rc.caleb was very good jokic showed some confident aggressive plays.east is up for grabs.boston clear fav but we can take them down
Like I said, in this case, I’d rather you be right. It ain’t over til it’s over.
from here on jimmy just texted me he will try from tip two final buzzer.
Nice to know people in high places
he sees a knowedgeable fan he reached out to me.he wanted to know where in czech were u born
Nowhere. I just liked the handle and the play on words.
with ty back whats terrys role
For the moment, starting point guard. Seemed like a pretty easy answer to me.
uh the question is pt
Can you even read what you write?? You specifically asked what is his role, not how much playing time.
i like terry more than ty hes more rugged.ty on d so soft
I think they’ll both play 30 or so minutes with Herro shifting from sg to pg. But after the way Duncan has been playing, they might move Herro to the starting sg spot. We have to get more production from that position. I’d keep Jovic at pf. He has continued to improve there.
ty and terry sounds good to me give up some d for offense which we sorely need.dunc was driving to the rim for a while guess the other teams picked up on that.these days he fouls more than scores.jovic needs to jet jjjs mins.jjj is playing bad bball hes ok on d but no offense.
lane violation u cant call that f u refs .they would have gotten the rebound anyway
Hard fought, but par for the course this season. Miami isn’t winning games against opponents with winning records consistently, and come up short in the clutch consistently.
The Jimmy years have been fun, after the years of hodge podge roster construction, but it’s time to blow it up. They aren’t good enough and other teams are passing them by.
wait a month than post, prob right but thats y they play the games.jimmy gave all he had first time this year
I’ve been saying that if the Heat don’t win it all this season, it’s time to trade Butler. I’ll even modify that to if the heat make it at least to the finals, then maybe you don’t blow it up. Realistically, I don’t see them doing either one.
there not beating denver if denver survives the west which they prob will .they can get to finals though.
I’d rather you be right on this, but I certainly would not bet my hard earned money on that
good try heat great game
FUCKKKKK !
And so it goes
Terrible call smh
Didn’t like Jovic out
wtf was that pass
wow we have a shot
Thanks boy wonder!
And that is why you play him in crunch time
Exactly 💯
A chance!
Spo should of saved his challenge for that
wow no foul dam refs
Need a stop
Can’t. They could run out the clock.
So a steal or quick foul
nba wants close game thanks
Why? Because you were wrong?
grabed his fkn arm before he shot also pushed him before shot watch the game
And hand on his hip right after which is a foul
grabbed his arm u blind way before shot
But they called it on the hand to hip foul. Try to pay attention. The refs called the second foul. The refs that reviewed it didn’t disagree with the call. Some calls went their way, some ours.
Game changer
wow wrong call well take it
Right call
side out i say
Haha
pascal robinson
side out
foul before shot
siakam ty for pulling his arm like dunc.that happened before the shot though
ty sht shot dam
No foul?
They score so easily in the paint.
nesmith some athlete
get ty out need stops
jimmys best game this year
cant play ty crunch time
jiimmy in the air passes
