So its 8th seed after 82 games. With a chance for 7th. We can beat Philly and face NY in first rd. I dnt want them to play 2 more games before actual playoffs.
I am perhaps the only one on this site who, while unhappy with the loss of a player and the depth, and who hopes Kevin comes back soon, feels Thomas is the better player to get the second team minutes in the playoffs.

For some reason,the lyrics “Deja vu.I’ve just been in this place before” keeps playing in my head when I look at our Playoff situation. Hopefully ,we can beat the sixers just to avoid playing two playin games.
Back to play-in for us, the heat only got themselves to blame for that. Now we gotta play the sixers for the 7th seed. I’m fine with that because we play better on the road anyways. Bucks was actively losing today, so if we do get lucky , and get the 7th seed , we would play knicks. Those pathetic, embarrassing losses to grizzlies, wizards, nets, etc came back to haunt us. Hopefully we can still get the 7th seed, if not then it’s either a 1st round or play in exit. If any of those latter things happen…then Jimmy better take a paycut or prepare to get traded.

That second quarter was a beautiful display of how good the Heat can play. Wright had his moments, as did almost everyone else. In a likely meaningless game against a tanking team, it was still very impressive

This is a weird situation. watching the game while also keeping track of the other 3 games. Nervous as hell. The Hawks and Pacers game is pure offensive showdown with no defense.34-49 in the first quarter is crazy.
We’re all nervous and heat put us in this position. I don’t think pacers will lose, but hopefully im wrong. I do think magic and sixers might lose or just magic.
