The NBA announced their 2024 Las Vegas Summer League schedule Friday afternoon. The 10-day long event is expected to tip-off on Friday, July 12, with the championship game being July 22 at 9:00 p.m. EST on ESPN.

The Las Vegas Summer League includes all 30 teams. Each team is expected to play at least five games, though the final game’s matchup and time won’t be determined until the four mandatory games are played. The Miami Heat’s opener won’t be until July 13 against Eastern Conference rival and reigning NBA champion Boston Celtics, who they coincidentally opened Las Vegas Summer League against last July.

That game will be at 6:30 p.m. EST inside Cox Pavilion on NBA TV. Here is the team’s full schedule:

  • July 13: vs. Celtics at 6:30 pm EST inside Cox Pavilion (NBATV)
  • July 15: vs. Thunder at 6:00 pm inside Cox Pavilion (ESPNU)
  • July 17: vs. Mavericks at 3:00 pm inside Thomas & Mack (ESPN2)
  • July 19: vs. Raptors at 9:00 pm inside Cox Pavilion (ESPN+)

We do not know what the full Summer League rosters for each team will look like yet. Though it’s fair to assume that Kel’el Ware and Pelle Larsson–the Heat’s No. 15 and No. 43 picks–will be suiting up. Here is our full undrafted signee tracker, led by Arizona forward Keshad Johnson and Florida’s own Zyon Pullin.

The Miami Heat will also be participating in the California Classic Summer League, where they will be playing three games inside Chase Center against the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. That event will be held from July 6-10.

Since this is the newest thread I’ll add this here. Jalen Smith of the Pacers declining his player option. I would love to be able to add that guy to this team. I’m sure we don’t have the money, but damn. That dude could help now while Ware gets hist feet wet and would still be a big help even when Ware settles in.

Yup. If there’s a will, there’s a way. I would prefer to trade Duncan for Stewart.

I’m looking forward to summer league. First time in forever we have two picks that will suit up. That alone gives this a different vibe. Add in I love our picks and UDFA and this is can’t miss TV for me.

2 picks will suit up, but 4 new players under contract will be participating.
