The NBA released the groups for their second-annual In-Season Tournament Friday.
The Miami Heat will be slotted in Group B along with the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons, the league announced.
The two other groups in the East will feature the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets in Group A; Group C will feature the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards.
The groups are set for the Emirates NBA Cup 2024, as revealed tonight on ESPN.
All 30 NBA teams were randomly drawn into groups of five within their conference based on win-loss records from the 2023-24 regular season.

The game and broadcasting schedules will be released in a month. Miami will Milwaukee and Toronto inside Kaseya Center while it plays with Indiana and Detroit on the road. This marks the second year in a row that the Heat play the Bucks in the In-Season Tournament.
They entered the final group stage game last year 2-1 needing a win against Milwaukee–plus plenty of additional help–to advance to the knockout round. Miami suffered a 131-124 loss inside Kaseya Center, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard combined for 65 points on 20-of-34 shooting.
