Still love the fact that folks have watched this same team for basically 2 years, barely make the playoffs, and are convinced that it’s early season jitters
That said the fact that some of the same folks don’t understand draft pick protections, doesn’t shock me.
Miami was the 8th seed in back to back years. Hanging your hat on a miracle finals run, versus the roughly 170 other games, seems insane.
It’s time to blow this team up. I know it won’t happen, but you optimists better used to losing, because this team isn’t a winner and we’re likely stuck with it.

I accept the optimists. I wish I could be like them. And, in the nba, any average team is just two players from contention. So, they’re not wrong to be hopeful. Still, the problem with tonite isn’t that we lost a heartbreaker, it is that we are in an incredibly close game with the Pistons. I guess you could say we are who we are. At least the games are exciting. You can enjoy a season even when we aren’t going to win a championship.
Pistons ain’t that bad anymore.

I hope so about herro, and I think he can score 24- 26 ppg this year. Between injuries and Jimmy not being the same, I think it will be a necessity for herro to score more.
I think herro will keep it up. I just hope we get back to the defense standard we are used to
You know….The outcome is important as we love to win but then again it’s not a huge deal. What is still fun is watching this assortment of different talents and just cheering them on. The Heat team is exciting this year, win or lose.

Tanking isn’t nearly as safe in the nba as it is in the nfl with the lottery, but this team is far away from being competitive. Bam has regressed. Jimmy is over the hill. Herro may have taken a step up, but just aren’t enough pieces on this team to be anything decent.
