Good game. Like the fighting spirit. Unlucky, our shots did not fall. Not a despairing game at all.Nothing to fault at all, playing against the #1 seed in the west and tough defense,
firs game I’ve watched start-to-finish in a while.
Obviously Jimmy going out early hurt the team. That said, the Heat kept it close the whole game, but it never felt like OKC was worried they would lose. Watching them get into passing lanes reminded me of the Heat from 3-4 years ago. The Heat have lots of good players, but they’ve lost their identity on defense.
My only other observation is that when Bam went out for stiches after Jimmy had already gone out, the Heat threw out a lineup with Herro, Duncan, JJJ, and Jovic. They were a Haywood Highsmith away from a whitewash! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a full whitewish in Pat Riley’s thirty years with the Heat. Spo could have easily thrown in Love or Pele for Highsmith and made Miami Heat history. Alas, it was not to be.
Props to Bam for coming back into the game with stitches in his head. Embiid would have been out for the rest of the month.
Was there at the game, but could only watch in spurts, because I was working a security shift. The team competed hard, and I believe they could of won if Jimmy didn’t get hurt. I see why other fans from different teams say lu dort kinda dirty playing with reckless abandon. I also talked to one fan by the heat store, he told me that he’s tired of Jaquez, and said we need to bring Shaq back. Take that with a grain of salt. I obviously told him Shaq is too old, but I get the premise because he wants big dominant C, but that’s on spo to give minutes to Kel. I also understand we he said he’s tired of Jaquez, even if it’s premature. Jaquez has hit the 2nd year wall, his 3pt and ft shooting are down from last year, so hopefully he gets it together. P.S Kenny the jet Smith walk pass me and I was able to make him laugh with a joke about Shaq.

In a way, yes. But if we measure it by who is more likely to be an All Star this season, it likely will be Herro.
