I enjoyed watching this game, despite the final result.
The best game of JJJ this year.
Is it me or does it seem that Spo has lost his touch, I don’t understand some of his decisions. Bam also seems to be preoccupied about something. He hasn’t seemed like himself for a while. The sooner Spo starts Ware and Bam together, the faster the team can get on to the next phase.
Herro is the only bright spot this year. The problem is that Miami has one foot in the past (somehow still thinking this team can compete for a championship) and one foot in the future with several young players who need playing time to develop.
I hope the Butler situation is resolved soon and Riley trades for someone who can actually improve the team/make a difference.

The Detroit Pistons, winners of 4 straight and 8 of 10, have pulled even with Miami and Atlanta in a tie for 7th place (1/2 game behind 6th place Indiana and 1 game behind 5th place Milwaukee).

One thing I always hated about spo is his stubbornness, getting beat on the boards all night, but refuses to play ware with bam smh. Also leaves in cold players too long .

Or to acquire talent. In the end Riley has lost his touch, and a cheap owner takes some of the blame.
That Spo contract, that Bam contract looking awful. This team is headed towards mediocre-bad purgatory. Riley’s god father persona doesn’t matter in the modern NBA, and we’ve seen it over and over. Mickey needs to retire Pat, open his wallet and the new GM needs to clean house.

No matter how this game ends, it was a mistake to take Ware out and leave Duncan in. But especially the former.

Spo is extremely overrated at this point. He doesn’t recognize that Miami is getting murdered on the glass? I mean can we not put a more traditional lineup out there in these games?
It’s frustrating to watch these small lineups when at the same time, most of the guys in the small line up can’t hit a 3 to save their lives.
Just makes no sense.
End of the day, stacking these losses probably good for the long term health of the franchise, that desperately needs a talent infusion, but if Spo is supposed to be the brilliant mind, I don’t see it anymore.
