I have this device at home that is helpful if something is making me miserable on tv. It’s called a remote. Press a button and, badda bing, the miserable show goes away. It can preserve your sanity.
There is something wrong with the offense. This is the second time it happens where the heat is up by a huge margin but comes the 4rth qrt and we couldnt score past double digit while the opponent score 30 or more
Role players fall back into their role. Only Bam and Herro can try to carry the offense, but if they can’t that’s it, and Bam really isn’t a full offensive creator, though he can get hot with his shot. Need some random guy to be hot.

We’ve seen a lot of inconsistency. Tonight, Mitchell showed he could be productive. Wiggins hasn’t done much yet, but should be fine. The team obviously has to be more focused. A good team doesn’t have a 4th quarter like that. If they can pull out a win tomorrow, several games after the all star break could get us back on track. I imagine they will work during the break to create plays for the newcomers. And they need to develop Ware’s offense and run specific plays for him. No reason he can’t provide in the 15/10 range.
Miami has the 6th most difficult schedule after the all-star break. So there’s that.

A man at a baseball game wondered why the ball kept getting bigger and bigger. Then it hit him.
This team is just miserable to watch. The early wins ruined any shot at tanking for a lottery pick. The Jimmy drama. The lack of any real scoring threat outside of Herro. And for a team that boasts about its culture they go long stretches where the effort is lacking too.
It’s way past time to blow the roster up, Jimmy was a start, but move Bam, Wiggins, Rozier, anyone with value who isn’t young.
That’s a bit much. I think there is a scenario where this team gets two picks in draft and can make a move for a Durant. That at least puts them in the conversation again in the east which is better than blowing it up and waiting like 10 years like OKC

You bring up an important point.,The fourth quarter is a different game. Players that are otherwise pretty good can’t score in crunch time. We don’t have a superstar anymore and it shows. But, our last superstar was getting old and losing a step, was often injured, and only would try if he was being paid a salary no team could afford and build a team around him. So we have to find another. Until then, we are going to have nights like this.
As evidence of how important a superstar is, without Embiid, but still with Maxey, George and a few other good players, the Sixers are 20-34. If Embiid was healthy they would be 34-20.

Feels like the league has figured out Herro is Miami’s only threat and has changed the way they defend him. He’s not handled it well, but ultimately on Pat for building a team without talent.
