I sometimes wish I didn’t have to write some of the posts I have made about our beloved team. But, it’s hard to stay optimistic when the results are so disappointing. Tonite was a new low point. Maybe, hopefully, this is rock bottom.
We need change, and like I said the other day, the change needs to be made in the area of leadership and direction. Change needs to occur at the top. One day, after another embarrassing loss like this, we will respond appropriately. Till that day, like tonite, it will often be difficult to watch.

Keeping it real would be calling for getting rid of Riley. Now, I am keeping it real. I have been saying this for awhile. But, when you say it, you do it at peril. Then Riley did a reasonable job in an untenable situation with the Jimmy quit, and I backed off as I was grateful he got Wiggins and Mitchell. But, he has made, IMHO, so many huge judgmental errors over the last three years, that they all culminated into what ensued with Jimmy and also have led us to where we are now. To me, everything wrong with the Heat is all Pat’s mistakes, everything. Not Mickey, not even Spo (although he has given up a little too), all responsibility for this sordid state of affairs is on Pat,,100%.
