Less than two weeks before the intrastate foes meet on opening night, the Miami Heat take on the Orlando Magic in the second of two preseason meetings Sunday at 6:00 p.m. EST.
Miami is winless in three preseason contests, most recently losing a 112-107 affair to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Kel’el Ware scored a game-high 29 points with 12 rebounds on 12-of-19 shooting; Norman Powell had 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting while rookie Kasparas Jakucionis dished out a game-high 10 assists in 25 minutes.
Despite only Nikola Jovic, Terry Rozier and Tyler Herro being ruled out, the Heat will also be without Bam Adebayo, Powell or Andrew Wiggins. Sunday is the first leg of a back-to-back for the Heat, who travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks.

We suck in preseason. Start the real games!
Only bright spots tonight are Ware, Pelle, and Precious. Whether Ware starts or not, he needs to play at least 30 minutes per game.
I must say that I really liked Keshad in G League and wanted to see him succeed, but he really hasn’t shown enough at this point.
Don’t get why we get so hype over undrafted players anyway. It’s a reason they go undrafted
For an undrafted player to earn an NBA contract is a big deal for them. It feels good to see them succeed. Getting into the rotation is the next step. Some make it and some don’t. Johnson is a good example of a player with physical attributes but lacking in other requirements. He thinks he is still on the playground which is preventing him from evolving and improving. I’m concerned about his bbiq.
I dont see a single sign of improvement since summer. I think he will serve as an insurance till next season. After that he will be out of the league.
I m not happy about it. But he is not good enough to contribute.
He has this season to demonstrate he belongs on the team/in the NBA. I’ll wait to see how he does before coming to a final conclusion. He needs to mature and focus on the things he does well during games, when he gets the opportunity. He should work on the things he does not do so well during practice or during G League games.
I doubt he will play much. The problem is, that he don’t do anything particularly good.
Ware can be pretty impressive around the basket.
Thanks for fillin in for your buddy?
I’m just hanging with the crew here. It is a little light on the commentary so far. Not much to see, Davion was only in a little. Got to see a little Kaspar and a little Precious. So tough to get any continuity with so many guys out.
nfl sunday missed the heat.w/o bam wares an allstar i believe.with bam hes 13 10 type guy.
He has all the tools. If he applies them every game, he can be elite.
Good game. With some hiccups guarding Wendell.
He has problems covering centers, which can shoot.
Jaquez looking good. Ware too.
Interesting lineup
