Jaime was a +43 tonight, and the leading scorer. He definitely stepped up.
Also, we finished with 7 players in double digits, and three of them finished with over 20 points. Not a huge surprise when your final score is 142, but it just emphasizes that we are deep and we are strong.

Well, they’re definitely going to play him unless he is traded. But I agree he would better serve the team by coming off the bench.

WE don’t do this, HE does this. He has been anti-Her(r)o since he got here. I happen to agree that I wouldn’t mess with the starting lineup and think Herro would be great with this second unit. The team is very very deep. Some will see few minutes some games, more in others. It should be about winning and nothing else.

Firstly, Jaquez is not going to play less because of Herro. The likeliest players that probably would see fewer minutes are Simone, Pelle, and Dru. Secondly, you were chucking Jaquez off the team last season and now he’s a better player than Herro? No. He’s having a spectacular third year and has got to be the early favorite for 6moy. But let’s compare apples to apples, career to career. To this point, Herro is obviously the better player. This year? We’ll see. But I agree that the team is playing as fast and efficient as I’ve seen. I also wouldn’t change the starting lineup, but Spo might. I hope not.

I don’t disagree with you or hhh4l on how well they are playing and, like you, don’t want to change what’s working. But I am being realistic. Unless Herro is traded, he will be back on the court when he is healthy. Possibly even as a starter, though I think he would be better off the bench. But your leading scorer from last season and former 6moy is not going to lose his job due to injury. It will be interesting to see how they do on the roadtrip. Herro should be ready to return after the trip and around the time we play 2 games each with Cleveland and Knicks.
Oh, and as for who saw this Jacquez coming after last year? Nobody really. But least of all you with your rush to judgment. You pushed back hard on me all last season when I kept saying don’t give up on the second year player. You’ve wanted to get rid of Bam for at least 2 seasons. I disagree. You’d like to get rid of Herro. If you get someone that helps the team? Sure! Patience is a virtue buddy.

Miami is going to leave this game with at least the 2nd-highest point differential in the league, and the way the last few minutes have been going, there’s a chance they might overtake San Antonio on that statistic.
Guessing Davion isn’t gonna make it to 10, but 7 players in double figures without Powell and Herro is crazy.
I can’t believe how well the bench has played through the first four.

It’s a fair rule. Every lottery team has a chance to get lucky and move up. The play-in serves a similar purpose.
