after blazers 2 with cavs and 2 with the hated nyk.its revenge time for cleve if bams not ready for cleveland goldin boy better be ready to throw his massive strong body around i assured rc he wouldnt embarass himself my reps on the line spo
Great win, and historic 1st quarter scoring for us. To top it off multiple players scoring 15+, and special shoutout to the Swedish swish for going for a career high .
Jaime is evolving, growing in confidence. You can hear it in his voice when being interviewed.
Good win. I’m waiting for Ware and Jovic to play up to their potential. They are both too tentative when they should be aggressive and too aggressive when they shouldn’t be.
I guess rebounding isn’t a big issue with Riley or Spo. Team was -20 tonight (57-37) and getting killed on offensive boards.
Jaquez continues to amaze. If he continues playing like this, I can see him being considered for most improved player and/or 6th man of the year.
Powell, Wiggins, Larsson, Mitchell, Smith and Fontecchio are playing well (carrying their weight).
With Bam and Herro the Heat can do some damage…especially if Riley brings in a big who can play defense, rebound and run (like that Diabate dude).
Trailblazers tomorrow. It is not the same team it was a year ago. They’ve knocked off OKC, Denver, Lakers and Golden State so far! The game should be very competitive.
GO HEAT!!!
Nico had his usual up and down game. But, he did have some ups, and two, he had less downs. It’s going to take Nico a longer time than others but there is still a chance he will blossom. Patience is a virtue as he’s still pretty young. Tonite, at least, he was doing a little better and hopefully he will build on it.
how long do u wait how many complete good games has he had in his career here.u gotguys better hes on the bottom of the totem pole norm jjj wiggy pelle fonzi jovic
Yes, that’s what sometimes happens. It takes time for some players to refine their game and sometimes there isn’t enough playing time available to evolve.
He remains a work in progress. Improvement and consistency are needed.
For me, I’m just giving Niko this and next season to take a leap. Or else. Hehe. Ware, give him 3 more seasons.
nba going to ppv prime video f that
ron rothsteins as good as any nba analyst as there is on tv
The only one I’ve heard that was better was Chick Hearn. He had a ton of sayings, such as: “The game’s in the refrigerator, the door’s closed, the lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter’s getting hard, and the jello’s jiggling”.
That’s great! 😆
the vin scully of basketball
Yup. I was spoiled living in L.A. area for several decades and having those two doing the Laker and Dodger games.
“Roberto Clemente could field the ball in New York and throw out a guy in Pittsburgh.”
“The only difference between a winning team and a losing team is one game. The winning team can win two out of three games—the losing team can only win one out of three.”
“Losing feels worse than winning feels good.”
“It’s a mere moment in a man’s life between an All-Star game and an old-timer’s game.”
“That is the way this game is — you win, you lose, you celebrate and you suffer.”
Fernando” ready, and the strike-two pitch is hit back to the box, dribbling to second, (Juan) Samuel on the bag, throws to first for the double play! Fernando Valenzuela has pitched a no-hitter at 10:17 in the evening on June the 29th, 1990. If you have a sombrero, throw it to the sky!”
jim mandich was a local classic broadcaster for the dolphins had great expressions 30 and rc could attest for that .his allright miami when they scored a td was a classic his expression just riding around with my windows down is classic on sport talk radio.mad dog was da best beloved down here rip md
Chick Hearn also coined these phrases and many others:
“The mustard’s off the hot dog.”: — A player’s flashy or showy move that fails.
“No harm, no foul.”: — A call for a foul that was not significant enough to stop play.
“In and out, heart-brrrreak!”: — A shot that looks good but rattles out of the basket.
“Slaaaaaam Dunk!!!”: — Coined by Hearn for a dunk with power.
“He can’t throw a pea in the ocean.”: — Describes a player or team with terrible shooting accuracy.
“Caught with his hand in the cookie jar.”: — A player is called for a reach-in foul.
“Dribble-drive.”: — Hearn’s term for a player driving to the basket while dribbling.
“He throws up a brick!”: — A shot that misses the rim entirely.
“Picked his pocket.”: — When a player steals the ball from an opponent.
btw when he was doing his sports talk gig and somebody would ask him how hes doing he would say just riding sround with my windows down.also referred to beer as green lizzard classic mad dog
in football thats like losing in the trenches u usually dont win
outrebounded by 20 u aint beating to many teams
now jjj is a ?? for tomorrow .why was he in there i told rc no goldin i knew stubborn eric wouldnt play him until basura time.we were getitng killed on the boards 42 26 at one pt
I was hoping to see him. And Kaspar.
Jaquez, Pelle, Dru, Simone, Davion, Powell, Wiggins. A fun team to watch. No drama.
the ss players usually the one with the egos ill take a lebron primadona player any day of week
I’m so glad Wiggins is playing so well. We do pay him a lot. And, he’s a very good player, not a great player, but we need him badly on this team even though he probably could never put the team on his back like a superstar. I never want to trade him as I can never see us having five better players.
hes playing his best ball now last year way to inconsistent
He averaged 19/4/3 with us, but had a bad playoff like almost every player on the team.
And he’s as mellow a player as I’ve seen.
ware?dru?
5-4
I know it’s just Charlotte but there are some guys playing really well.
There’s a lot to like about this team. But we all agree we need one special player to be a contender. Better team than last year for sure.
And we really don’t know how good we can be when Ty comes back. He could make an impact too if used optimally. But, no matter what, we need Goldin to blossom unimaginably fast, or we need another big man, whatever we have to do.
Very true. He needs to get an opportunity.
portland cleve 2 times next 3 games if we win 2 out of 3 id take that after r what cleve did to us last year in playoffs we should be pissed.
We’ll take the W
Pelle doesn’t look a step slow to me.
compared to bros yes.hes more power than pace
Nope
watch him play and watch the first step of prime dwade same size players not close
Wtf do you think I’m doing every game? And you want me to compare a #44 pick with a #5 pick who happened to be one of the most amazing athletes the Heat ever had?
just pure athleticism no hes krafty and powerful not super quick
I never said he was super quick, but you said he was a step slow,no he is not.
one step slower than u know who lol.love pelles game big fan.,hes good at the (sweden) europe step to.does lots of winning things that impact the game.
He’s quick enough. Not the fastest but not the slowest. Pelle has got a lot of good things about him. I like his demeanor, kind of unflappable and relentless.
Exactly 30. He has a quick burst and uses his strength. Moves his feet well on defense too. No matter, he’s a great pickup for this team.
hes got quiet confidence look to him
So basically Heat gave their 101% in the first and relaxed in the second. Then became their usual self of the past in 3rd then locked in this final q. Roller coaster in short
well said manila hope your ok with those typhoons down there
Yep thanks. We’re prepping that’s why I can’t focus on the game.
we get hurricanes here are u ok where u live
Yes, we’re ok on our apartment not reachable by a flood. This is the second strong typhoon in a week that’s gonna pass us 😳
Wishing you, family, and countrymen safe passage.
Salamat RC 😊
ditto yes anybody that follows the heat games from that part of the world so closely is my brother.thanks for being a heat fan and staying up for the games with us
brainfart spobot
take starters out spobot
2 games cleve coming up this week gonna need bam
blazers 50 50 game theyre good
empty bench spobot b2b
put goldin in games ova
We got a win!
no lemelo sexton miller whoopee
Yes, I was glad Sexton was out. I would take him on my team. Not Ball though.
ja morant?
Powell record casts light on how good he’s been.
Hey, I asked if there was ever a better start than Powell. So answer was no. Nicely done!
only thing is he s not a rook.be more impressive if he was a rook .he looks like a heater wish we had him a decade ago
Ware needs a lot of work to do. Good thing he’s so young.
a project needs refinement
mann ice cold now
That’s where Ware needs to learn. He should’ve taken that ball back out instead of try one more shot.
avdija israeli guy 24ppg wow
The guy is quite legit. And, even though he has a better three ball than Jaime, otherwise there is some similarity in skill sets.
saturday night one might take mrs hfl out for dinner .hope its 8pm start
I wanted that guy in Heat uni I think a few yrs ago when he was available
b2b no adam no
dont know who good sfs in east are but we got 2 of the best in east
Who could have predicted Jaime playing like this?
dribble between legs and a wade floater sweet
That commercial makes me nostalgic for the 90’s music like Collective Soul.
Pelle spin cycle!
jjj playing all star level bball un real
Ware made a nice play and I think he’s going to be great but he’s got some refining of his game to achieve.
The ability is there to be very good to great
Jaquez!!!
is there a better announcer in any sport than eric reid?hi eric i know u read us?
That ability to bull in for layups that Jaime is perfecting is a big part of why he raised his whole level of play.
compared to last year day and night unreal how good he is now
jjj quick jumper
wares shot blocking really good hes so long but his rebounding due to his slim build gonna be an issue.just to skinny.and his low post game at least tonight looks bad
foul on fonzi there refs
nice kelel
We might be opening up a little space on the Hornets.
That didn’t age well.
spobot one stubborn sob
I wish we had Diabate.
yes quick jumper athletic unlike shnozola
put goldinspobot
This team plays fast. Goldin doesn’t fit that tonight. We need Ware to play big game n the 4th
goldin can move have u seen him play
I’m not saying he can’t be a solid backup one day but you saw him in college.
From his scouting report…
Athleticism: His lack of elite agility and speed could make him a liability in fast-paced games or when guarding smaller, quicker players.
gimme a biabaki
put goldin in spobot
