u going to the herrons parade 30 congrats inter miami so fla 10th champ
No, but proud of them. I used to have season tickets to he Miami Fusion.
Well that sucks
Not a good night. Some of the expectations and good vibes we were feeling took a hit over the last few games. We still have a decent team, albeit with some weaknesses. We are close, just need some more help brought in. Maybe it’s a good thing in that our optimism was somewhat inflated and now there can be no questioning that standing Pat is not an option. We reached the date where the penalty to make a move will not be an inhibitor any longer. It’s not too late to go for it this season. Let’s hope we bring in a little more talent to go with our very decent core.
b2b tough loss at orlando tough one tonight.starters are ok bench suks besides jjj.dru simone pelle fonzi all below average players
niko is as unplayable as a guy can be
We give him so many chances. Yes, he made a few plays in garbage time. But, with the game on the line, it was during his stint in the second quarter that the game got out of hand and he had a big part of that with several turnovers, allowing several second chance rebounds, and allowing several blow bys. He also hung his head a few times and that has a negative impact when he does that on everyone else.
He needs to go down to the G League. It’s the best thing for the team and for him.
Niko made two nice plays. Happy for him.
spo blaming ware not mad at jovic eric huh
jjj simone pelle started out good all suk now jovic always suks
Not fair to Jaime, or Pelle or Simone. JJJ is playing well tonite. He got off to a slow start but is doing better now. Pelle does so many good things. And Simone is just fine as a ninth or tenth man. They are all decent.
jaime is decent other two below average
Dunno we have game…and we are bad!
One bit of news. This week marks the time when they can sign a backup big or other player to a pro rated contract and stay under the cap. And trades for just about any player need to be explored . But with a performance like this, maybe they should be sellers, not buyers.
Goodnight and good luck.
That’s Edward Murrow’s line.
That is good news on a down night. I think buyers. It’s not too late to try to improve this team.
jjj hair getting shorter and shorter
niko niko niko
Niko the unplayable.
Look how good you have to be to play in this league. The Kings have Murray, Sabonis, LaVine, DeRozan, Monk, nice looking rookie Raynaud, and they are 5-17 going into tonite. ,
derozan to the heat get it done pat
canes might get in
They might. After getting no help for weeks, everything went their way today. They still may get left out but now there is a real chance to get in.
That was a rough quarter. But, we still have a chance, although it will take a lot to go right.
Shouldn’t have lost yesterday, but played well. Losing this game would a total embarrassment.
It is sad that we have some good players but not enough of them. They need more support. I wish we had another good scoring big. I believe Lavine would do well here and I said that today before this game. I also said it last year. .
He would be, but his salary is the obstacle.
spo gets fired after this?
Brilliant
just kidding of course
Really?
hof coach rc
That’s great
terrible d jeez
w/o powell 2024 heat
waiting for rcs response
Find another team, hater
tell it like it is
I just did
heat for life when they suk u will know when there good u will know
Yes, I need you to let me know when they’re good or not. Thanks for your astute observations.
jjj play going south will guard though
Exactly, the Jaimie highway is having more roadblocks but at least he plays good d and brings the ball up. But, he has come back to earth.
Had 16 last night on 8/14, but yeah, it’s more inconsistent now
And he has played much better, doing all the things he’s good at, maybe the one player who had a good third quarter.
get jovic out dumbot
achiuwa better than shnozic
It’s close. Maybe a little. Both suck. You know who is better than Jovic, Fonzi.
achiuwa better
He does try his hardest.
powell playing?if not we are so mediocre
is dumbot related to niko?
to many whitesiders
How could you say such a thing.
No biggie. Race baiting is everywhere.
I was being facetious because of some of my posts this week. HFL has the courage of his convictions. I’m .apologetic. I wish I never had to say anything. But, we got a guy who is doing absolutely terrible out there. Does he ever get a rebound and can he cover anyone.? And he keeps getting chances.
learned it from u lol its truth
It is. And not because individually they aren’t good. Some are very good and you can win a championship with them. But, reality is, collectively, you have a tipping point where too many of them becomes a problem. It’s an axiomatic truth proven over the years thousands of times. None could honestly deny it. Ask any fan anywhere in America about the Heat and they will tell you that is the biggest problem. Three on the court for more than four minutes or six on a team and you can’t win much more than maybe a .550 clip and that’s only if you have quality players like Bam, Ware, Wiggy, Powell and Davion to support them. It’s as real as the sun comes up in the East and death and taxes.
No. It depends on who the three are.
At least two have to be superstars or they have to be in against second teamers. Or they have to have Jimmy Butler in his prime to cover for them.
In pro football we accept this as reality. There are maybe two white running backs, maybe three white safeties, no white cornerbacks. Whites can play all the other positions well, some are all pro. There is no advantage in any other sport, but basketball and football require some unique athletic skills at some positions.
I like having Ty and Jaime and Pelle on the Heat. Simone is an okay tenth man. But, that is where it should stop. If Kaspar is going to make it, then there’s too much overlap with Ty, and Ty has an untenable contract situation anyway. One has to go. And Jovic has to play somewhere else too. That is, if we want to win. If we just want to have positive thoughts about player potential and don’t care about going deep into the playoffs we can just keep pretending that this team with six white players, all in our top ten players, can compete. But, it can’t get much better than maybe an .550 percentage and no positive outlook or hopeful optimism will change that. Ask anyone from any other town in the nba about the Heat and you will hear the truth.
I grow tired and weary of this posturing like the make up of this team is viable and competitive beyond slightly above mediocre . We have some really good black players that can carry us only so far. If we had two more replacing Ty and Niko maybe we really could compete. I would be fine with four, we could win with four, but not six. Boston had five last year but only Porzingus started. Hauser, Kornet and Prichard played a lot on the second team. They also had three great players, Tatum, Brown and White. You can win with that line up. But, the Heat don’t have those level stars and also ask much more of our Whitesiders.
I’m not apologizing anymore for having the honesty to tell the truth.
jovic ahead of keshot makes no sense fonzi ahead of keshot ditto/sposuks
Jovic’s plus/ minus over the last five games he’s been in has to be atrocious. People would say he makes good things happen. Not lately, unless you’re rooting for the other team.
He has been awful lately and plays afraid.
just getting in here
I don’t understand how Keshad gets no opportunity. They play Simone, Jovic, and G league player Young ahead of him. Doesn’t make sense to me.
dude ive been sposcratching for years
Makes no sense.
I can understand Young with Davion out, but not Simone and Jovic.
LaVine off to a good start.
Streaky player, he can light it up.
Let’s go Heat!
