The Miami Heat continue their five-game road trip in Portland against the Trail Blazers Thursday night at 10:00 p.m. EST.
The Heat rolled the Sacramento Kings earlier this week, 130-117, led by Bam Adebayo (25 points), Norman Powell (22 points) and Pelle Larsson (16 points, nine assists). Miami will be without a few key players, including guard Davion Mitchell and center Kel’el Ware, against the Trail Blazers, who are also coming off a win over the Kings.

Miami is more interesting this year, but it’s clearly a team in nba purgatory. Too bad to be anything more than 7th or 8th seed fodder, too good to get a pick that could be meaningful to the franchise (not that Spo wouldn’t Jonathan Kuminga an elite pick anyway.)
