Coming off a narrow 116-113 win over the Chicago Bulls inside United Center, the Miami Heat return home to continue their three-game stretch against their East foe. Tip-off will be at 8:00 p.m. EST.
The Heat have won both of their matchups against the Bulls this season. As a result of its win earlier in the week, Miami improved to 26-23, while Chicago dropped to 23-25.
Both teams are currently fighting for play-in positioning in the East. Miami is tied with the Orlando Magic for the No. 7 seed while the Bulls are tied with the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 9 seed.
The Heat are in prime position to move up the standings and create some separation heading into the All-Star break. They have two more against the Bulls followed by games against Atlanta, Boston, Washington, Utah and New Orleans. They are 2.5 games behind the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers for the No. 4 seed in the East, and if they can build some momentum ahead of the break, they could solidify themselves as a top-6 seed as we enter this final stretch.

dav doubtful means hes close.hes a decent pg young kasp no at least not now
Heat upcoming games vs teams below them and only a few games separating them in the east. Need those Ws. Meanwhile Cha on a roll and it sickens me coz they owe us big time.
adam silver needs to do something what a spineless commish.theres alot of evidence terry was fixing bets for the guy.they have him meeting him in person.terrys screwed and so are we.
Improper medication, is that a new expression for doping?
In most other sports bans are 2-5 years, and doping is named doping. (except in soccer, of course. To big to fail).
Two quite injury depleted teams matching up. The Heat without Powell would be on shaky footing against many nba teams, but this is a game we could still win. We will use KJ a lot more, and perhaps Niko more also, and I believe they will play well against the Bulls. Bam also should do well, and could possibly put up big numbers. As long as Giddey isn’t available the Bulls are at least as short handed as we are.
You forgot Herro and Rozier. Heat have been down over $55M worth of players all year with those two alone.
jovic has been down also u forgot him
He’s on rookie contract. They are on contracts totalling over $67M.
I would swap fontecchio start Ware alongside bam
I agree. Starting Simone over Ware doesn’t make a great deal of sense to me.
With Jovic your only big back-up.
in the meantime rileys in finland then norway looking for the next great one
fonzi over ware how bout van gundy over spobot.not sure why riley axed stan.favoritism at its best in the org
Anything worse then 5:2 and 31:25 before all star game would be bad.
