GAME PREVIEW: Heat cap off three-game stretch vs. Bulls

While it felt like a mini postseason series, we’re still in the regular season. Less than 24 hours after their seven-point loss, the Miami Heat close their three-game stretch against the Chicago Bulls Sunday at 6:00 p.m. EST.

Behind a 14-point swing in the second half, the Bulls picked up their first win against the Heat this season, 125-118. They were led by guard Ayo Dosunmu, who posted a near triple-double, scoring 29 points with eight rebounds and nine assists. He also accumulated a pair of steals, shooting 11-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-6 from 3-point range.

The Bulls were without Coby White, Josh Giddey and Nikola Vucevic. White and Vucevic are expected to return for the second leg of the back-to-back.

As a result of the loss, the Heat dropped to 26-24, 0.5 game back of the Orlando Magic for the No. 7 seed in the East. Both teams are currently fighting for play-in positioning.

Miami is 2-1 against the Bulls this season.
