It’s official: the Miami Heat will be represented in the 2025-26 All-Star game later this month!
As a result of having arguably the best season of his career, Heat guard Norman Powell is a first-time All-Star, the league announced Sunday! Powell was one of seven All-Star reserves in the East, which included Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, Atlanta’s Jalen Johnson and New York’s Karl-Anthony Towns.
The 11-year vet is averaging career highs in points (23.0) and assists (2.6) while tying his career high in rebounds (3.7). He’s shooting 47.2 percent from the floor, 39.8 percent from 3-point range and 84.4 percent from the free-throw line.
