NBA player Norman Powell has an estimated net worth of approximately $45 million. This wealth has been primarily accumulated through his lucrative basketball contracts (which have earned him over $123 million to date) how much fn $$ do u need to live jeez norm had a chance for jewelry ..but instead of coming to greeks and hfls warm weathered jamaican loaded beaches he chose a team that i dont think will even be a playin team.i mean like jim mora would say u play the game to win .just a sign of the times how these guys rock.for me that ring means more than $$ especially when u got 45mil already.good riddance norm enjoy your $$ while i get my 5th ring and try to pay my mortgage this month

I wouldn’t ask Powell to give up part of his salary to get Giannis and Bam a ring unless I see them both giving up a chunk of their lucrative contracts like Brunson did.

It’s not Powell’s fault Riley didn’t have any money left to reward him for an all-star year. You expect him to sacrifice while the Arisons, Riley, Spo, Bam and Giannis get the gold mine and he gets the shaft? How stupid do you think he is? FTS!

the 2g is the missing piece between jewelry and no jewelry.i believe with powell we would be the favs for #5.hes got to take that into consideration i would think.hfl not happy with norm gotta be honest im hfl not nfl.lgh.jamaicans beaches warm weather jewelry aint enough for norm then good riddance.ill get me a derozan then whos better anyway

Your anger is misdirected. Powell deserves every dollar he gets. He’s 33. How many more multiple year contracts do you think he’s going to get. I don’t see Arisons, Riley, Spo, Bam or Giannis giving up jack s**t! Hell, they are all raking it in big time.

im not angry lets start there.im a heat lifer.i want the best for the heat .we are one good 2g away from jewelry correct?norm is a good 2 g.put 2 g and 2 g together and i wish norm would have given us a discount for my 4th ring.dam i gotta sell one of these champ rings

Norm’s job is not to make hfl happy. That’s hfl’s. With better planning, there would have been enough money available to pay Powell. Did Riley just ASSume he was going to take peanuts? If so, that’s his problem.

Wiggins could have given Miami a $10m+ discount this year ($20M) and spread the balance ($44M) out over the next 2 years. Why aren’t you ragging on him?

Yup, we’re back to the silly good riddance comment. For a while, Jupiter was aligned with Mars and it was the dawning of the age of Aquarius. ☮️

Sounds like the Nuggets are opened to trading Payton Watson in a sign and trade.
Maybe they’re interested in Andrew Wiggins?

Sure they are. He’s expected to get a new $25M-$30M+ contract for 3-4 years and his stats aren’t as good as Andrew’s.

Wiggins has agreed to a 3 year $64M contract that pays him $30.2M in year one and $17M in years 2 and 3.

Sounds like a perfect trade. Nuggets get a vet with Championship experience to ply with Jokic, and save ten million bucks next season. The Heat got younger and more atheletic, and add a long armed defender to play SF next to Bam and Giannis

In that case, Riley should have had a plan in place to trade him if he opted in. He didn’t. B***h at him.

I hope Riley is staying on top of this. The sooner he gets a yes or no answer from Lebron’s agent, the faster Miami can get on with bringing in the best players available who meet the team’s needs. Right now, I get the strong feeling that Miami and a few other NBA teams are being played. LeBron’s decision should be a no brainer…either Cleveland or Miami. I wonder if the thought of living in cold weather excites him after living in L.A. for 8 years.

Following are excerpts of an article I just read.

Miami Heat Get Bad News After New LeBron James Photo Emerges(from Heavy on Heat)
Just days after Rich Paul identified Cavaliers assistant general manager Brandon Weems as one of Cleveland’s greatest recruiting advantages, James was photographed alongside his longtime friend and former St. Vincent-St. Mary teammate during a gathering in Akron.

Rich Paul Identified Weems as Cleveland’s ‘Big X Factor’The photo surfaced only days after Paul discussed James’ free agency on theGame over podcast with Max Kellerman. While breaking down Cleveland’s recruiting pitch, Paul highlighted the Cavaliers’ championship-caliber roster before singling out one executive.

“Dan and Grant, which is the Gilberts. Plus Koby (Altman), he was there when LeBron won there,” Paul said. “Big, big, big X factor, let me talk to you about Brandon Weems.” Paul then explained why Weems could be uniquely influential. “Brandon Weems is basically LeBron’s brother,” Paul said. “He worked his own way up. Nobody gave him anything. He’s earned to be in the front office of the Cavs. But that is a big feather in the cap for Cleveland because of Brandon Weems.”

One of the betting sites has the following odds of where LeBron decides to play:

  • Cleveland -150
  • Golden State +425
  • Miami +809
  • Philly +1567
  • Minnesota +1900
  • New York +2400

That’s what it looks like. If stretch and waive players become available while LeBron is jacking people around, Riley should jump on any good opportunity that comes his way.

He’s one of those players who fills up the stat sheet during the regular season but folds in the playoffs when he’s really needed. He sells tickets but doesn’t produce jack s**t in the playoffs. All hat…no cattle.

Low bbiq. Dude had 9 fouls but they missed the 10th one ar end of game. Yurtseven was much better.

Heat need to hold one spot open for backup big, even if it is a one way defensive rebounding type who doesn’t score much.

Heat won’t be getting many picks/rookies for a few years, except for undrafted players. No young bloods with talent will be coming to the rescue. Riley will need to get very creative if LeBron decides to go elsewhere.

I want to see Tre Donaldson get the green light to score more so I can see his full potential because he made the most of the limited touches he had. I can already see the craftiness that the scouts have been talking about.

The one thing I didn’t like was what happened in the final seconds of the first overtime. He poked the ball loose, but instead of hustling after the loose ball or trying to make another play, he just stood there and watched. I can probably chalk it up to a lack of experience.

Yup. There are a few young players on the Summer team that show promise. They are rather raw and can benefit from a year at Sioux Falls. It will be interesting to keep tabs on their progress in G League.

Too many turnovers and too sloppy. Some trying too hard to impress. Guards look better than front court players.
