The California Classic has come and gone, but the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League has arrived!
Over the next two weeks, the Miami Heat will play in five different contests in Sin City, beginning with the Milwaukee Bucks Friday at 4:00 p.m. EST inside Thomas & Mack Center.
Second-round rookie Ryan Conwell leads Miami. Meanwhile, the Bucks are led by Brayden Burries, whom they drafted No. 10 overall, and former Heat guard Kasparas Jakucionis, whom the organization acquired in the Giannis Antetokounmpo blockbuster last month.
This is the first game for both teams. Here is our gamethread below!

So, a physical altercation this morning between Bam and Herro. Waiting for details, but we know Herro said stuff about Bam about a week ago.
I really like what I’ve seen from Tre Donaldson. He’s an efficient scorer, a good defender, and what has surprised me the most is that he’s becoming a very good facilitator on offense. In the last game, when he got subbed out, the Heat’s offense became ugly and clunky.
Tre was definitely one of the positives.
The team should consider getting Young back on a 2 way. He has looked good. A lot of positives.
The Heat dominated the second half. A lot of different contributors. Nice win.
Some nice stat lines.
Kaspar looks good, still can’t finish well, but made his open three. Now that he’s not ours hopefully we can look at him more objectively. The jury is still out on how good he will get. Goldin and Conwell look okay too. Both have some positives, some areas that still need improvement.
So, who was not looking at Kas objectively? I must’ve missed something.
Well, there have been some assumptions made. Even the article posted today postulated that he may have been the best player traded, amongst other things said. The anuthor even said he could become a “fringe all-star.” I’m just saying I think he’s proven to be a rotation player but it remains to be seen if he’s a starter. I wish him the best but I sure am glad we have Giannis and if he was part of the price to make that deal, so be it.
Okay, so Matt mentioned that? The one fact we do know is that he was the final key to the trade that Milwaukee demanded. I just didn’t recall any of the regulars not being objective. Potential does not equal reality as we know. I think he can be good, but there have only been glimpses so far.
