The Miami Heat play their second Las Vegas Summer League in as many days against the Orlando Magic on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST. Led by Ryan Conwell, Jahmir Young and Tre White, the Heat took care of business against Kasparas Jakucionis and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday in a 119-86 blowout victory.

Keels and Young have both looked good.
A year of seasoning at Sioux Falls should reveal a lot. Same with Conwell if he can’t earn a spot in the regulator Heat rotation.
I stand by my belief that at some point he will be getting regular minutes this season.

We’re always spoiled when it comes to finding gems at the guard position. The amazing thing is that they always seem better than the previous gems, but we can’t seem to find good players at the 3, 4, and 5 positions.
You would think they could find a young physical, raw PF or C they could develop. Rebound, defend in the paint and handle lob passe for dunks.

So true. I think the grading systems are more accurate with the big men. Good big men get drafted. BTW, my favorite pick at #13, Cenac, who is 6’11”, went to Boston all the way at #27 and my Boston buddy says he looks great in Summer league.
I liked him too. He was the first one I mentioned. Then, knowing he would go much lower than 13, I switched to Yaxel, Philon, Carr, Steinbach, and Morez. I wasn’t as high on Ament or Lopez or that big center coming off serious injury.
Won’t need to worry about draft prospects again for a while.
