The Miami Heat return to Kaseya Center tonight to host the Brooklyn Nets in their final home game of the 2026 preseason, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Miami enters Wednesday’s matchup with a 2-1 preseason record after suffering a narrow 125-124 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. Despite the defeat, the Heat received encouraging performances from several younger players, including Ryan Conwell, who finished with 22 points and nine assists, and Vladislav Goldin, who contributed 18 points and six rebounds.
Tonight, the focus shifts back to Miami’s regular rotation.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Davion Mitchell are all available after sitting out Saturday’s game. However, Bam Adebayo will miss tonight’s contest with a groin injury, giving head coach Erik Spoelstra another opportunity to experiment with his frontcourt combinations.
The Nets arrive in Miami undefeated through three preseason games, featuring a roster led by Michael Porter Jr., Julius Randle and a developing group of young players.
With the regular season just one week away, tonight provides another opportunity for Miami to build chemistry, evaluate its depth and fine-tune its rotations before the games begin to count.

Sounds about right for preseason. Folks will think differently after they see Miami’s defense. Stars around the league are going to have “off nights” when they play Miami this season.
toronto def top 6 team theyre better than det bost cavs imo greek joker top 2 players kawhi might be third hes really really good as we all know.he will elevate tor like greek does down here.sorry about your lad they got old very fast.magic will just buy some more guys next year.1 team hisotry of baseball has come back after being down 0 3
Boston v NY.
Hey 30,
My15 WTCN began listing Heat games for coverage in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
whats the provider would help or is it over the air
I believe the people there know which is wtcn. Yes, it is over the air.
i got my antenna im good wouldnt work on my big tv had to put it on 48incher which is right next to my 73incher.gl to 30.i couldnt imagine not seeing any heat games i might have to go to your house rc to watch them lol
only ? for the team is health of giannis.he plays a physical game.with him playing should be lots teams. w/o him wont beat to many teams
Its all about time/load management. He shouldn’t need to average over 32 minutes a game this year. Hopefully, he will be able to play several games under 30 minutes if the team has a few blowouts.
oh hes gonna get 10 -15 games dnp.need him 100% for jimmys season
He will get time off, but make no mistake, this season especially, every game counts. The Heat MUST finish in the top 6, and it’s going to be very competitive for those spots.
If the team’s defense is top notch and the pace continues to be among the fastest in the NBA, the margins of victory should also be among the league’s best. To me, that translates to 55 wins or so, not the 45-47 wins some are projecting. That should be good enough for at least 4th place in the east. I can’t believe some so-called experts are projecting Miami will be a play-in team (rated as low as 9th place). I’ve seen at least one prediction the Heat won’t even make the playoffs. WTF?
dont see to many blowouts lebron east is stacked wash gonna be a btch that #1 pick gonna be a proble, weakest team might be herros team lol.im predicting only 10 wins by 10 or more, tough tough conference whos real suky in west btw maybe sacramento
The Heat sure missed Bam and Pelle on defense.
Overall, the team played so-so for much of the game at home against a poor Brooklyn team.
The Heat relied too much on Giannis, who lead the team in scoring, assists and rebounds.
Team 3 point shooting is encouraging (36%). Thompson still hasn’t had a good 3 point game (2-7).
Portis, Fontecchio, Conwell Hardaway carrying the second unit. Need Pelle to round out 10 man rotation.
Wiggins and Ginnis having another good game. I have a feeling they will work very well together this season.
Positive signs from Mitchell, Portis, Fontecchio, Hardaway, Richards and Conwell.
Would have liked to see Gardner get a few more minutes.
Jovic had a good game (rebounds and assists), however he needs to be more assertive offensively. At minimum, he should average 10+ ppg, 4+ rpg and 4+ apg this season.
Spo needs to get the starters and reserves on the same page by opening game (one week from today).
In order to preserve the starters (especially Giannis, Bam, Thompson and Wiggins) for the playoffs, Spo will need to develop a strong/deep bench. Right now, it looks like the Heat rotation can go 10-12 deep. It may be the deepest bench in years.
jovic looks better its preseason though we shall see hes running out of oppts
He’s not running out of anything yet. His productivity should continue improving as his confidence increases. He was in a very dark place psychologically last year. He seems to be finding his way back into the light, Have patience heat, the fat lady ain’t anywhere close to begin singing just yet.
pre season doesnt matter though.over hisyears here hes been so friggin inconsistent.we shall see they paid him so u know how that goes
Think positively heat. The team can use him if he performs up to his potential. Remember how most folks around here gave up on Jaime after the 2024-2025 season? They were wrong. I’m expecting Jovic to have a similar bounceback year.
hes never flashed like jaime did .modelof inconsistency .got other guys that are better imo aka the gardner
Moot. Different position, different skill set
They are going to eliminate all other options so his only choice left will be to succeed.
I don’t disagree about Jovic, including that he played a good game. He was more focused on facilitating with the 8 assists. 5 rebounds were fine, and he is playing much better defense.
He is definitely showing signs of life.
jake bauers can go deep
The Heat going 10-12 deep this season is exactly my thought. Praying for everyone to be healthy.
gard with body blow luv the kid hope he makes team
conwell better than dru,rc?
I think he will be. Need to see him get some minutes in the regular season. But, overall, yes, I think he will show that he is. Definitely can score and create more.
Conwell and Gardner both have much higher ceilings than Dru.
True, and probably Donaldson as well.
drus getting paid to deflect passes and defend.he has no offensive game it seems
Conwell!
conwell nice use of right hand lefty
30 not gonna see heat games this year>?
We need to start a go fund me to pay for the pass
hes a dentist he can afford it .when push comes to shove he will fess up
Go to hot IPTV get all NBA games including heat for 87 bucks per year plus other great shows.
I already have the games. Bout30 is in a different county.
Kylor Kelly was an import here I guess just last year

Goodness gracious, Giannis 20/15/9!! Halfway through the third quarter.
One more … Wow
Probably done for the day
milw saw that every night
And?
Goodness gracious.means you are surprised
Impressed, not surprised.
Richards really having a solid game!
Close game? Feeling Bam’s absence?
Conwell back to back 3s
Wow
Message to Heat – stop leaving MPJ unguarded on the 3 point line.
On pace for 130+ but looks like defense needs a capital D
Bobby Por-threeeeee!!!
dwade shakeyour hand?
Friends keep messaging me if i went to see DWade Lining event here in Manila. Really sucks.
Crotty’s explanation on that challenge was incorrect. The reason Giannis got free throws on that play was that Brooklyn was over the limit.
Mbeng in early! Impressive!
Since my buddy isn’t here I’ll have to speak for him. Richards is better than Bam. Heehee
Lol
Richards is a keeper.
That would really be a big help. I don’t have the game on where I am. What is Richards doing that makes you say?
Guarding well, effort, 7 points, 4 rebounds in first half subbing for Bam. Looks solid.
Also, you were absolutely right about keeping Wiggins. He is the perfect fit on this team.
Thanks. Thanks also for the update on Richards. He has to be signed by 10-21. I hope he earns it.
I think he’s punched his ticket in this game for sure.
Go Heat! Last preseason game?
No, but next one will be mostly subs.
I didn’t see that Bam is out and I wonder if Pelle will play much or at all.
Yup, no Pelle.
This game should be a pretty accurate dress rehearsal for what’s coming up next week, so I’m interested to see what type of rotations there are.
Let’s go Heat!
