
The Miami Heat are returning to participate in the California Classic Summer League event, hosted in Sacramento and San Francisco, for the eighth-straight season, the league announced Wednesday.
The Heat will in the San Francisco pod, which features the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors, held on July 3, 5 and 6.
They open on July 3 at 8 p.m. EST against the San Antonio Spurs, before playing the Lakers and Warriors on July 5 and 6, respectively. Here’s their full schedule:
- July 3 (8 p.m.): vs. Spurs
- July 5 (4:30 p.m.): vs. Lakers
- July 6 (10 p.m.): vs. Warriors
The first two days of the event will be ticketed events, while July 6 will be closed to the public.
This marks the second time in three years where both Sacramento and San Francisco will host the event. Broadcast information will be released at a later date, as will the rosters, which aren’t finalized until after the NBA Draft, which is on June 23.
Other teams who will participate in Sacramento include the Kings, Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.
