What the hell was Dallas thinking??!! I would take Doncic 7 days a week over the oft injured AD! And Doncic is 6 years younger. Lakers immediately become one of maybe 2 front runners for at least the West, if not everything.
That will depend on two things.1). Lebron and Luka need the ball to shine so one of them will need to sacrifice touches. 2) If their offense will be enough to cover their lack of defense.
I am just surprise that laker gave up only one 1st round pick,the Mavs really wants Luka out or they got paid under the table😂.
Apparantly Luka’s defense and conditioning were the reason he got traded.Klay is probably regretting his decision now like Derozan when he heard that Fox wants to get out of Sacramento.

Well, yeah, they got that in family.
I remember his father, playing in the small club where I lived. At that time they got 5-6 good players. Anyway, there was a Saturday game, and after that game we often finished in a nearby club. Seeing those players partying all night, including the elder Dončić, was a custom. Drunks, all of them.
The elder Dončić finished as taxi driver for a while, and had no contact for 5-10 years with the boy. Mum did it all. But lately, 3-4 years things changed, and dad is always around. It seems, bad influence too.
But I believe, this is not the only reason. The rumour is that new Mavs owners are not willing to pay super max to him.
Hell, Luka doesn’t have a chance to win it all with LAL this year, but he might opt out next year and become free agent. If Miami get rid of Butler, they got cap space to sign him.

id take the defense and overall game of ad for the short term.for the long term luka.but luka plays duncanish defense and seems to be missing lots games last few years.lukas prob the best offensive player when healthy but he dominates the ball and with lebron thats not going to happen.lebron cant be happy .but what a wow trade .for nba 2 superstars traded for each other.adam silver must be happy.jimmy next pls
