heat for life

ware bam lock jim terry.just worried about terrys d.otherwise thats a dam good starting 5.warewolf will block anything around the rim.nobodys getting by jim bam locksmith anyway ware noticeably tall and long

Big_guy305

Some good news y’all, we resigned locksmith back at 2 years 11 mill yayyy! Lol. Also been coming up with nicknames for our 1st round draft pick, let me know which you like best: ware wolf, warehouse, wear n tear, the kryptonian.

2qbn

Ware wolf is leader in the clubhouse

Zac

Glad to have HH back, but part of me was hoping Pat would just force Spo to play the rooks – which is as close to tanking as we’d ever see.

Big_guy305

Yea I get what you’re saying totally, but you should know Riley wants to win because we still have Jimmy, also locksmith is important, especially if/when Jimmy is missing games. Lastly locksmith is our 2nd or 3rd best perimeter defender, he will make sure that we’re at least a top 8 defense 😉

Zac

Trust me, zero hate to Haywood. His growth last year was amazing. I just still have fairly muted hopes for this team overall, and given the strength of the up-coming draft, Miami’s lack of overall off season improvement, would have left me willing to accept the quiet off season if the kids were going to get extra minutes.

This running it back thing, ain’t it. I’ll enjoy watching HH play for Miami this year, but I suspect we are in the mediocrity purgatory in the NBA and that’s disheartening.

Reality Czech

Depending of course on health, this team will likely be no worse, and possibly better, than last season. Butler playing for a max contract, plus the newcomers, should have us competing for the 5 or 6 seed.

heat for life

True do u think right now we could beat bost nyk phily in a playoff sereies?Milw ind? orlando cleveland? No ,doubt it, maybe. The wild cardfor me is the warewolf. If he can give us 30 mins a night with bam we could beat anybody i believe

Big_guy305

We can take most of those teams to 6 or 7 with a chance to win, we can beat Orlando and Cleveland. Boston can beat us, and probably Philly too if fully healthy. Milwaukee, indy, and knicks is a toss up could go either way in my opinion, but it all depends on if playoff Jimmy can come back alive.

SunManFromDogBone

There are a lot of ifs, but there is a way…

  • If the moon is in the 7th house and Jupiter aligns with Mars,
  • if God is willing and if the creek don’t rise,
  • if a healthy and focused “Playoff Jimmy” returns,
  • if all our other returning starters are 100% healthy,
  • if Highsmith, Burks, Duncan, JRich and Love prove productive,
  • if our younger guys like Jaquez and Jovic show marked improvement,
  • if our new guys like Ware and Larsson prove to be viable rotation players
  • if Riley can pull off a trade for a difference-maker by the trade deadline

…anything is possible.

Reality Czech

Could be the dawning of a new age

SunManFromDogBone

Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars.
(Maybe then you two can kiss and make up)

Big_guy305

The ware wolf taking him to work at the warehouse. 🙃

SunManFromDogBone

That’s great news for Heat and for Highsmith. He’s a great guy and can turn into a very good two-way player if he chooses to be more assertive on offense.

I hope they have enough money left to sign Swider.

Nicknames…

SkyWare, Ware’s House/The Warehouse (the paint), The Warden, Swamp Stalker (In Arkansas folklore, the Fouke Monster /ˈfaʊk/, also known as the Boggy Creek Monster and the Swamp Stalker, is purported to be an ape-like creature, similar to descriptions of Bigfoot, that was allegedly sighted in the rural town of Fouke, Arkansas during the early 1970s).

Locksmith is back!

Love him or hate him this is the hard truths
And he said something very interesting @ the 11 minute mark, that the heat going to the finals these last couple of season were the worst thing that could’ve happened to this team. Spo has hid the deficiencies of the front office since 2020

Reality Czech

One person’s hard truths are another person’s opinions. The word truth is thrown around a lot these days. It’s getting increasingly difficult to tell what is and isn’t. I agree with anyone who didn’t like Riley’s penchant in the past for getting rid of draft picks. More assets would make it easier to trade for players like Mitchell or Markannen, yes. But to get players in the teens like Bam, Jaquez, Ware, Jovic, plus the development of castoffs is pretty impressive. Getting to the finals is the worst thing to happen to the team? Not for me.

HHHFAN4Life

Ofc happy with 2nd place and in 5 years nobody will remember the runner up. Your one of them fans he’s talking about which is probably why you don’t like what was said. Wade for all intents and purposes were the reason bron bosh and butler all came to Mia, some here have also eluded to that tell me where he was wrong

Not agreeing with someone doesn’t make them right or me wrong, or vice versa. And I indicated i agreed with some things he said. But, as I’ve pointed out before, 29 out of 30 teams every season are runners up at best. And you’re right – no one remembers the runners up, whether it’s the Lakers, Warriors, Boston, Cleveland, or Miami. But if it’s only championship or bust for someone, they’re going to be disappointed very very often.

Early returns are promising.

2qbn

Ware was a beast, but we can’t sleep on Pelle and his all around game. The knock on him was he doesn’t excel in any specific area and yet he contributes in all areas. That is his specialty. He doesn’t just have to score to provide value. He boards and dishes and scores. What ever the team needs. Dude is a player

Reality Czech

I’m glad to see the sky back up where it belongs. 😀 This is why it’s not a great idea to judge a team or player using a small sample size.
Swider needs to be signed soon.
Ware will be a great backup to Bam. Hopefully, they’ll play together a lot in the future.
Good stuff from other players like Larsson, Johnson, Stevens.

SunManFromDogBone

I agree on Swider. He’s a RFA. If another NBA team offers him an NBA Minimum contract after Miami uses its available cap space, they will not be able to match. He’s a natural gunner; like Duncan. They need to sign him immediately or they will lose him!

Ware showed a lot of positive upside. I have faith he will be as good or better than Lively by the end of the season…or sooner. Bam will be playing PF before you know it.

The supporting cast looked much better today than yesterday. That same Sacramento team beat the Lakers by 14 on Saturday.

GO HEAT!!!

Big_guy305

Sheesh ware is cooking, just hit a dirk-esque shot. Ended the game with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block and almost 60 percent shooting from the field. In his interview he said the heat are working on his weight training and post work.

Big_guy305

Nice game from keshod Johnson.

2qbn

He might be my favorite undrafted player we have had in a while. I don’t worry about stats yet. I just watch players motions and movements. His body type is excellent for a 3 and D guy. They have something to work with

Big_guy305

Now I understand why and you’re right he has a nice body type… close to pj Washington in fact.

Reality Czech

Hey! I was on that bandwagon too, along with Pullin and Stevens.

Big_guy305

Ware punishing these guys in the post.

Bout30man

He definitely has potential.

Big_guy305

Just need to bulk up, work on his shooting, free throws, and boxing out.

Big_guy305

With swider playing this well, he’s proving that he can be plug and play. If herro or Duncan gets traded. His g league efficiency from 3 was ridiculous as well. 47 percent from 3 on 10 attempts a game is crazy.

Big_guy305

Stevens playing better then alondes.

Big_guy305

Ware playing very well today 👏

Big_guy305

Swiderman on fire 🔥

Bout30man

His shot is very fluid, looks like it would hold up in any situation. He would still need to be able to do a lot of things, like play defense, but his shot seems to be on a high level.

Big_guy305

I agree, but he’s definitely an improved rebounder, and his defense is better then dunc, when dunc was that age. Has good enough girth, and size. So probably can play some minutes at the 4.
