Not much to glean from this game. This looked like the Heat had a night off from practice.
That said, I really like having Slo-Mo on this team. I haven’t seen Wiggins yet, but I’m really happy with the other two guys the Heat got in the Butler trade

If the heat gets two draft picks, make a strategic trade or pick up a really good free agent, and players like Pelle, Mitchell, Keshad, continue to improve, and Dru comes back strong, they can be very good next season.

Flagrant was the Washington player intentionally sticking his foot out when he saw Highsmith coming. It resulted in Highsmith stepping on him and turning his ankle. Lucky it wasn’t more serious. It wasn’t a normal basketball move, It was a playground move.

For me, I watch these games with mixed feelings. I always want to see the Heat play hard, and I am happy when they win games. However, if they play hard and lose, I’m not too upset about it because if they don’t make the playoffs, getting two draft picks this season would help them to improve more rapidly.
