The Miami Heat are back on the road for another two-game trip, starting with the struggling Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
Dallas is just 7-15 on the season and sitting at the 12th seed in the Western Conference. They have lost six of their last 10 games, and it will be a back-to-back underperforming West team matchup for the Heat— following their blowout home victory over the LA Clippers the other night. Miami beat the Mavericks just over one week ago, and will look to go 2-0 against them on the season.
Anthony Davis, who sat out of that Heat’s recent matchup with the Mavs, is expected to be available for this one. Davis still adds some star power even in the midst of a slight down year amid injury concerns. The matchup between former Team USA teammate Bam Adebayo will be something to keep an eye on.
As for Miami’s injury report, Norman Powell is listed as questionable due to a rolled ankle he suffered in the fourth quarter of Monday’s game. Pelle Larsson is also questionable with a toe injury. If each of Powell and Larsson aren’t good to go, it will likely be another new starting lineup for the Heat, as both players have been consistent starters throughout the start of this season.
After a quiet outing in the Clippers win, Kel’el Ware will look to respond, especially if needed to step up with a key rotation guy or two out. The sophomore big man only played 16 minutes off the bench in that game, totaling 0 points and 9 rebounds.
Can the Heat take advantage of a struggling Dallas team and improve to 15-7 and winners of 11 of their last 14 tonight? Let us know in the comments!

Greek seems will be available soon. I would stick with current group, but Riley should do what is best for the team.
I think our game with the Clippers really upset that team about their oldness. They benched Harden at halftime and then cut Paul.
Now we have the Mavs with AD. But on the other team’s floor. Will we keep it going? Have to tune in. We should grab every win we can get. I expect this to be a sterner test. We are going to need the release the Warewolf and go down the Jaime highway a little more to cover up for any possible absences. Maybe Simone can join the three party too. My point is, on this team, with so many contributors, you never know who the hero will be, maybe even Ty.
warewolf and bam only 2 bigs.the wolf might only play with bam on the bench, thats pats fault
Oops, back to blaming Riley. That didn’t take long. Just because you don’t understand the cap, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I am hoping they add another big in the next few weeks when they can prorate the contract and remain fine financially.
