Powell in a Panther’s jersey in his interview! Keeper!
Here’s a wild stat. Jaquez and Jovic combined for 42/7/16 and NO TURNOVERS!
No one should minimize this even though their superstar was out for half of it. And wasn’t it amazing to watch Jokic play, he was unstoppable in the second quarter.
I know it’s still a bit premature, (and my wife might agree- just kidding), but if Niko could shoot threes like that it will make us have almost too many scoring options and teams will have fits guarding us. That type of 3 point shooting, the type Simone was providing early on, is certainly important to our offense, opens up a lot of other things. .
I think the only 2 people left hoping that Jovic would play more to his potential were me and Vagibugi (SM too, except wanting to send him to G League). We kept seeing the potential even though he often looked absolutely awful. For me, it was the old saying of you can’t teach size, but you can teach shooting, positional defense, avoiding fouls etc. And also that he is still so young. He is the third youngest player on the team even though he’s in his fourth season. I am hoping he has turned the corner and figured out his role the same way Jaquez has done.
Yes, if he does make it there are a few others who would deserve credit. And, a few who would have to own their wrongly giving up on him. For me, I’d rather be wrong if it helps the Heat.
Still, it’s just like you say, too early to anoint him. We need to look at a larger body of work. I’ll be watching the two T-Wolves games interested in how he does.
I will say that tonite he looked really good as he played within himself and let the game come to him without forcing wild shots.
I feel the same. If it benefits the team, I am all for it. I would emphasize again that he and Jaquez had zero turnovers. That has been the bugaboo for both of them at times this season. Once again, we see the potential Jovic has. He needs to apply himself every game. I’d be happy with 12/5/5 or thereabouts and playing decent defense.
3 guys over 20 2 at 19 your gonna win lots games
This may sound weird and I may be wrong, but I am not a believer in this Detroit team. I don’t think they are in first place at the end of the season.
Heat win! Yay
A feel good win. Scoring from so many different sources.
what were the odds u could have gotten on our joic outscore there joic
Close to zero
Third unit coming in
I’m very impressed with tonite effort.
panthers in a tight one 4 3
Yes, and they had to comeback in that one.
and win again with chucky back very very soon
Heat second unit up 53-25 over Denver
jjj looks so happy out there.good play will do that
shows u how good joker is
i might have to change my name to hfos4l
ware niko jjj our front line for the next decade
Niko stepping up. Big game!
hey stranger whats your name
Jovic learning how to play the game.
what was the yogi berra sloganBaseball is ninety percent mental. The other half is physical“.
One of my favs
niko has the confidence now whos next. keshad
That would be great
niko your making me look bad lol
Don’t worry. You should be used to that by now, lol
win some lose some.
Eh, me too
pelle pick your head up when your running
u say were fine with dav rc i disagree
You’re entitled
Right now, we have multiple players who can run the point. We do not have multiple players who can play backup center or pf. To me, that’s the bigger need.
a 2qbn run never fails led by spencer fn jones
bams effort to block that shot was bad
ware needs to get closer to shooters
markieff morris enjoing the game or was it marcus
WOW WARE!
the closest guy to joker i think rc was arvidas sabonis of course not as good .but a great passer like joker and big dude and very good player
Very similar size
be careful these guys might to take a cheap shot on us
valuchunas steven adams who u got in that
Depends on who is healthy. But I always liked Valanciunis.
sneaky dirty play bam great at that
hyper extesnion dont think its serious my guess.good massage might be avail.hope hes avail next game
Hope so for Denver’s sake. A true ss who can beat you by himself. I don’t think I’ve seen another player with that size and skill set.
olajuwon
But Hakeem was lean.
not really 7 ft 255 only avg 2.5 assists though
For a 7-foot player, 255 pounds is considered lean, or at least at the lower end of a normal playing weight, especially in competitive sports like basketball where muscle mass is essential for performance
Jokic is 6 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 284 pounds
Right
Gotta be careful second half. A wounded animal can be very dangerous.
And Jonas is a decent backup.
rough cookie
I hope it’s not too bad. I don’t like him, but don’t like to see players injured. It looked bad.
yes we remember what he did to morris .that was really bad
joker down uh oh .jaime pushed guy onto joker.hope hes ok best player in nba dam looks bad rc
Now, without Jokic, very beatable.
if aaron gordon was on the heat hed be our best player until ware develops
if we played a healthy denv team 10 times how many games we win?
It does not mean they are very beatable now. They have proved in the entire month without two of those three players that they are not very beatable because they have won 2/3 of their games.
very beatable means we have a chance to win healthy denver very little chance
67% winning percentage and team is very beatable. Lol. I wish we had a very beatable 67% winning team.
Now THAT is telling it like it is. With facts.
niko niko niko
get bam out
bams playing like sht
Denver won 2/3 (67%) of their games in December without Braun and Gordon. Any team that wins 67% of their games is NOT very beatable, obviously. Don’t let facts get in the way of your negative opinion though..
put jovic on joker
wares where nada.bam ware dont work to good
wow wata pass joker
are they gonna take 2 pts away?
payton watson keshad johnson same type player but of course eric will never play great athlete smh
bruce brown looking like jalen brown go canes
Done been on 3 diff teams since then and wasn’t the same player that he is with Denver. I personally don’t like those kinda players
yeah hes a journey man player when he plays with denv plays pretty good plus hes a cane
They may be more beatable without three players, but they are still not very beatable.
when aaron gordon cam johnson christian braun are out you cant be the same team very winnable game
They’ve won eight out of their last 11 games and they lost two of the three games by one point! They are not very beatable!
60% of starters out.weakened team
Gordon and Braun have been out since November and they have been winning at a torrid pace. These are facts bro, not some opinion.
It’s just your way of setting the table so if the Heat win, you could make an excuse that it was just because the other team was missing players, Mr. Heat fan.
telling it like it is
Totally ridiculous and goes against the facts, buddy.
think jovic gonna be backup c for now
