I don’t know what that may earn. It could be as high as sixth place or as low as eighth place. It is simply what I predicted before the season began. I have agreed all along that changes need to be made. However, I don’t see Riley going anywhere and I don’t see an opportunity to get a superstar in the short term. I hope the team are buyers before the trade deadline, and if they’re not going to be buyers, they might as well be sellers.

It’s quite possible. I haven’t looked at the remaining schedule. But, some teams do throw in the towel about now, and there are plenty of teams that fall into that category. They may even exceed that record if the schedule has enough cupcakes on it as there will also be the load management scenarios for teams getting ready for the playoffs. So, the Heat could end up even ten over, as a possibility. On the other hand, their record would not help much in the first round, assuming they even get there.
That is, unless they are active buyers before the deadline.

It’s not about 1 or a couple of games. It’s about age and experience. Gardner is 5 years older and has been in the pros 3 years. Kas has been in the pros 3 months. As of this game and at this point, Gardner is a better, more polished player. That is to be expected.
