a young ja morant type pg and a sabonis type pf would make us alot better.trade herro wigg norm u still have pelle jjj we have to many 6 4 -6 7 guys
3 prospects in our range.
Yaxel Landeborg
PF Michigan – HT: 6-9 – WT: 235 – WING: 7-4 – Sr -Yaxel is a stud who can do a bit of everything on the court. He’s an older prospect but is still fairly young in terms of basketball experience and his rate of improvement has been awesome. He just keeps getting better and better and rounding out his game.
PLAYER COMP: Kyle Kuzma, Obi Toppin+
havent watched lots of the tournament more an nba guy.but recent drafts besides wemby flagg knuepel havent netted diff makers.being good in college doesnt mean good in nba.id prob rather trade for a proven young player.i love that fears pg from the pels love to get him
That’s where you are wrong. To get a good player from the draft (and maybe you should look some up and not dismiss them) , you get them on a rookie contract for 4 years. It’s how you build your team. I liked Fears coming out too. He’s got good potential and did okay this year, but 33% 3p%. But do you think they picked him off a tree? No, he was a high draft pick. I haven’t watched any tournament yet. It’s good, but not 100% necessary.
There are several good prospects in the 12-20 range who can help Miami.
Labaron Philon
PG Alabama – HT: 6-3 – WT: 175 – WING: 6-6 1/4 – So – A gamer who just knows how to play and brings a lot of intensity. A rangy and wiry athlete with decent size but will have to add strength. Excels at getting to the cup and has great touch around the rim and a creative layup package. Plays with great poise and looks to be in total control on the court.
PLAYER COMP: Tyrese Maxey lite
May go in late lottery.
Chris Cenac jr
C – Houston – HT: 6-10 – WT: 233 – WING: 7-3 – Fr – A long and agile post player with a nice skill level and really good open court athleticism. Can face-up and take his man off the bounce or drain jumpers. Has great timing as a shot-blocker and can defend in space as well. Shows developing ball-handling and offensive play-making.
PLAYER COMP: Jaren Jackson Jr., Kel’el Ware
There are others in that range that can really help the Heat besides these 3.
Oops. I didn’t see your comment. I just wrote something almost identical a few minutes ago.
spobot gave us no chance to win tonight w/o starting ware .not fair to the players.when u have a guy who is so obviously bad defensively u just cnat play him unless his name ends in ic.herro kills this team night after night dont know what else to say.
this loss started with dumbots lineup of not matching ware with allen and bam with mobley .forget about bam wanting out kelel should be asking to be traded.how dumbot didnt start ware tonight is a double scratcher.
Disappointing after such a nice win the night before. And this game is the more realistic indicator as we were healthy and they were missing some important players in the first game. Still got a ways to go.
My path is, once the play-in is definite, lose that and pack. Then, try to hit on at least one of the two picks, trade Ty with another player (Jaimie?), get a quality 6’10” two way forward, keep everyone else, get a backup center. Come back to relevance.
May not need to. Where we will be picking (probably 12-16, but 12-14 would be better), they can get an athletic starting quality pf or an athletic starting quality pg who can score. In the 41-42 range they can get a good backup center/pf. You can hopefully do a sign and trade for Powell for a player or pick. The same may be true for Davion. Not sure what Wiggins will do, but I expect him to opt out. Herro on his expiring contract may be someone for a team that needs a scorer. Rozier and Simone off the books. I can see further improvement and a return to relevance.
whats your impression of dav mine is backup pg been saying that for a while now rc.a play making scoring pg would help this team more than anything else
I think he’d be fine as a starter if you had a high scorer or 2 in the other 4 positions. We don’t have that, so on this team, he’s a solid backup.
rc u cant start play 25mins be in single digits your getting outscored in that position every night.theres a reason sac queens let him go ditto toronto.
You fall in and out of love with players more often than the weather changes here. Why ask me the question if you already were set in your opinion?
have u changed your mind on him u said hes fine i disagree.
Whatever man. I haven’t changed my mind. He’s the best pg on the team. He needs to start. He’s a really good defender. Plays smart. Definitely worth the money they’re paying him. Would be an easy contract to move if they wanted to.
I disagree. I think is the time when Miami to rebuild and begin a youth movement. The team needs more than a 6’10” two way forward.
Keep
Bam ($49.8M)
Ware ($4.7M)
Mitchell ($12.4M)
Jaquez ($5.9M)
Larsson ($2.3M)
Jakuciunis ($3.8M)
Gardner ($2.2M)

1st Rd pick ($3.8M-$4.8M)
2nd Rd Pick ($1.3M)
Trade
Herro ($33M)
Jovic ($16.2M)
Allow to expire or sign & trade
Powell ($20.5M)
Wiggins ($30.2M player option)
Fontecchio ($8.3M)
Rozier ($26.6M)
Observations
That makes a lot of sense, perhaps that would be a lot of people’s approach here, even if it means a temporary step back.
I’m glad you qualified the Jovic issue of including him in a trade. Alone, I don’t think he is tradable unless we added a sweetener, which we can’t do. We are pretty much in alignment on everything else.
Herro, Jovic and a 2nd rounder for Morant?
ja always hurt too fragile, look for a team has a stud pg and go after their young backup pg.dav needs to be replaced asap.
Who do you have in mind?
Not this year’s second rounder. Otherwise, yes.
what fn team is gonna take on niko at 64 mil.herros conract expires next year so thats desirable.we are stuck with shnozic id be shocked if anyboy wanted niko.if niko is traded i will limit my posts to 25 per game.glad rc is not a gm of another team
Try reading my comments. I have consistently said that he is untradable at this point. I have also said that the only way to trade him would be to add a sweetener, and the Heat can’t afford to do that.
Jovic has time to get his shit together before opening game in late October. If nothing else, maybe he can raise his trade value.
ware played like f u spo for not playing me .ware needs a coach that believes in him top 15 doesnt
in the off season im letting norm herro go in a heart beat.
cs lose tatum porz holiday horford dont miss a beat unreal.bams a third option need 2 better
That’s what good teams do. They don’t make excuses when guys are out. When you need to win, you find a way if you’re a good team.
jalen brown made players better than they are thats what a true ss does
Jaylon>tatum if the roles were reversed I don’t think Tatum could carry the Celtics the way brown did by himself
tatums one on one brown makes players around him better.id take brown over tatum.great problem to have two ss on one team .we have none bams good versus scrubolas any time versus a good big comes up short.hes a #3 option
btw u never answer me r u a heat fan?
Wiggins is a 4th option. $30M+ is too much.
herros a heat killer.hfl coach hed never play.
But you’re not, so okay.
im as good a s spo guarantee u that.id have started bam ware wiggy norm maybe dav or just try jjj at the point.not to start ware smh
Yes, and I know of a stock you should invest in that I guarantee will quadruple in price over the next few months. And that guarantee holds as much water as yours.
gardners rough rider
teams to vanilla problem #1
I have said everything I had to say about that. I will say that when Philly comes after Indiana, with Maxey, Embiid and George back, I predict a serious whoopin coming our way.
embid might be hurt by monday if he plays tonight or sunday
marlins win yes
herro guarding donovan spobot just cant get enough of his hero
i cant blame ware for not giving a f was diff in win yesterday has hardly played f u spobot
vanilla fudge u just keep me hanging on get out of ,my life whydont u babe u just keep me hanging on

Christian Laettner couldn’t have done it better.

Pretty good third.
I give our guys credit for not quitting.
wares gotta be injured did u hear anything rc
Yes, Eric said Spo was not happy with all the criticism from hfl and kept Ware out for spite.
crutty stop with whoos hurts my ears
32-20 no turd quarter
need 52 20
gardners presence is always felt he cracks people around nice friendly face but one bad ass out there
bam ware bam ware only salvation been saying since game 1.no other guys diff makers than those 2
u know what they say in sports we got a split on the road not bad
In the past 9 games against play-in/playoff teams, we are 3-6. Yes, bad.
to our defense 3 key guys were out until 3 games ago
That’s true, and we would have done better with them, but wouldn’t have changed much.
why not play bam ware 35 mins pls explain.their #s are great together
I like it, though you have no backup center. Someone might disagree.
precious
Yeah, right
no salary cap in baseball real turn off 30
So true. Fifteen cities have no real chance. Ten more only have a slight chance. It is surprising anyone watches. If I was in Congress I would make it one of my issues.
alcantara heckuva pitcher he will be a yankee or met in june
marlins arent worth watching 30 cheapest payroll in baseball.rather watch re runs of mannix kojak columbo bareta
They are playing another tanker tonite and it’s a good game.
colo cheap to
ware was the difference last night has hardly played.herro has been so bad on both sides.bam is solidifying his status as a #3 guy.rcs right we need 2 more better than bam not just 1.bam cant be your second best player.
BTW, Javier Sanoa, one of the hero’s of the Venezuela World Baseball Classic win over the Americans, is three for three tonite.
i got game on colorado broadcast
st johns 53 duke 44
This isn’t good. To get the win would need a historic comeback. The Marlin’s are playing….
Even Jimmy the Greek would give us a 0% chance.
He was wrong about a few things too.
This loss could be a hurtful one for our play-in avoidance effort.
This is the last of the 11 games I was looking at to judge who we are. Assuming a loss here, they will end up at 5-6. 2 of those 5 were against tankers, so they are 3-6 against play-in/playoff teams in this stretch. I’ve been saying we don’t have much chance to make any real noise in the playoffs, even in the east. I don’t like being right about that either, but it seems accurate to me.
bam ware bam ware only way to make noise besides norm all other guys are meh.donovan mitchell davian mitchell nikola jovic nikoal jokic almost pat u suk now btw
This team has no chance in the playoffs imho
Yes, I felt the same. But, I still feel a little better about us seeing ourselves fully healthy. One good upgrade, and maybe hitting on one of our picks and we could be on Cleveland’s level. I feel like you, that we don’t have to tank anymore. We are close enough now, but that’s only if we don’t lose any of our best players Bam, Wiggins, Powell, and Ware, with his potential. I still don’t mind us trading Ty. I think we should. HHH4L may not like my thoughts, but I gotta be honest.
pelle brainfart leaves strus wide open.
RC called it! 81
I bet you don’t feel that great about your prognostications.BTW, everything I have been predicting tonight, basically that we were going to come back, has been wrong so far.
No, don’t like to see the Heat get humiliated again by the same team that did so last playoffs. But it’s why I strongly feel it might be better for them to get a lottery pick, even if it’s only 2-3 spots higher than they would get anyway
Me too. I learned my lesson from last year. I don’t root for us to lose because it’s interesting finding out how good we are and it can only happen when we are healthy, but I don’t feel that bad either because big picture, we may be better off. Tonight,,you can see the difference a couple players, Allen and Strus, can make. It’s like we are playing a different team.
herro just let james go that was so funny
the best lineup is bam ware dav norm wiggins.any arguements
coach is clueless ty not making shots just keeps him in while ware just sits and sits and sits.
wheres ware play the zone with him
bams a good player prob top 20 need a top 15 player were not getting top 10 player to hard to get
No defense at all. Could be an 80 point first half.
