The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors will face off for the second consecutive matchup tonight in a 7:00 PM EST tip-off.

Toronto has been a problem for Miami, and they will be eyeing a perfect 4-0 regular season sweep with another win over the Heat. In the previous outing on Tuesday, Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram led Toronto offensively to a near-30-point blowout over Miami. In the loss, the Heat officially locked themselves into their destined play-in fate for a fourth year in a row.

They have lost seven of their last 10 games and still sit at the 10th and final play-in seed in the Eastern Conference at a mediocre 41-38 overall record. Coach Erik Spoelstra has seemingly run out of answers for his rotation, as question marks like Kel’el Ware’s role and the fit with Tyler Herro and Norman Powell still cloud this team with just three games remaining in the regular season. Powell has also found himself right back onto the injury report after returning from another extended absence with his lingering groin injury.

At this point, the inevitable play-in seeding is already certain for the Heat. Now, they will look to just string together some encouraging minutes to somehow figure out for a finalized playoff rotation next week. There will be one final road game of this 2025-26 campaign to follow, with Miami’s season finale scheduled for Sunday at home versus the Atlanta Hawks.

The most Miami can do at this point is to be a spoiler for either Raptors or Hawks.
