The Miami Heat officially have their Summer League plans in place.
On Tuesday, the organization announced its roster and schedule for both the California Classic in San Francisco and NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas. Assistant coach Wayne Ellington will serve as Miami’s head coach during Summer League competition, with practices beginning immediately in San Francisco.
Several familiar names headline this year’s roster, including second-year players Myron Gardner and Vladislav Goldin, along with Trevor Keels and Jahmir Young. Miami’s 2026 second-round acquisition Ryan Conwell will also make his first appearance in a Heat uniform as the organization gets its first extended look at the rookie guard.
The Heat will first participate in the three-game California Classic before traveling to Las Vegas for four guaranteed NBA Summer League games.

Players to watch
Conwell will undoubtedly draw plenty of attention after joining the organization as Miami’s newest draft acquisition, while Goldin and Gardner will look to build on their first year within the Heat system. Keels and Young also return with professional experience, giving Miami an experienced backcourt alongside several intriguing rookies.
Summer League has long been an important part of the Heat’s player development pipeline. Miami has consistently uncovered NBA contributors through its developmental program, and this year’s roster features several players hoping to follow that path.
