we shot better than the bucks in 3s, and even in pts in the paint. We lost cos we missed quite a number of free throws (14/21), which is a bit of surprise since we are top 3 in the league in ft percentage

The Heat played fast tonight and very efficiently. Richardson is playing some of the best basketball I’ve ever seen him play. Jaquez is looking great and looks like he can eventually slide into the pg spot and at 6’6”, that would give him an advantage over most pg in the league. Martin is clearly over his knee issues, for now. Lowry has really stepped up (so much for waiving him). Bam is having an all nba year. We could have used more from Duncan tonight, and Love is really not a starter. But if we can build on what they showed tonight, anything is possible.

I understand everyone is proud as we fought hard, played a great team evenly till the end. But, with the age of some of our players, this is likely to happen all season. That is why it is imperative we get more help to support the very good team we have. Also, it works to help us in that if we have more players to help carry the load, we won’t be as dependent on just a few players. And, players won’t wear down and need as much load management. Now that the season has progressed, we know what we have more. We know that Jimmy, Bam, Kyle, Jamie, Duncan, Ty, Caleb and JRich are all good to great players that can contribute a lot. But, the problem is, that’s just eight. When they are all there, we can play with anyone. But, so often at least one is out. The rest of our team is marginal, possibly ORob could emerge, but we don’t know that yet. But, it is a certainty that we need more.

I agree and still believe a trade would help. I’d also add Highsmith to that group as a good, not great player.

Maybe on HH, maybe not. He has disappeared a few times and had a couple reasonably positive games. His defense has been good, but he has to hit the occasional three to really contribute, which he does every once in a while. Let’s hope he keeps getting better but the jury is still out on whether he adds enough on the offensive side.

Last week, before we lost those two stinkers against the Knicks and Nets, I wrote that an important measure was going to be if we could be competitive against the best teams. Tonight, despite being shorthanded, they played a heck of a game. Does it help in the win loss column? No. But it shows we’re moving in the right direction. For those that don’t understand the concept, too bad.

It’s loser talk to you, obviously not to everybody. I’m looking for progress on this team and that’s what we got tonight.
You need not concern yourself with my family. I regret my outburst, but I don’t appreciate you suggesting I or my team are losers.

Some fans just want Ws. Even being the 8th seed and still going to the finals but falling short, its a losing season for them. Sad every fan base have those.

I am proud of this team. This loss is nothing compared to that Knick’s loss. Am I the only one who thinks that Miami does not get its fair share of calls.

Refs missed a ton of calls, even ones in front of their face. Even Shaq and Reggie was calling them out.

Win or lose..Miami heat played there heart out. I loved the effort, all It took for bucks to win was hot shooting from 3, questionable calls from the refs, and Giannis hitting 8 of 11 from ft.

Tough loss. Offense was on fire most of the night. Couple plays that stand out, that might have changed it – Bam’s missed dunk, where the ball slipped and Duncan’s oop to Bam, that he just couldn’t quite reach. Bam played amazing, but I think he makes those type of plays nearly all the time.

Also free throws. Miami has been on fire from the line – and struggled a bit tonight., missing 7.

Hopefully we get a game here soon with Jimmy and Bam (and who knows maybe Herro will be back soon too).

Yes those missed opportunities from bam was uncharacteristic, and probably could of changed the outcome, but he played amazing regardless.

I agree, but I do wonder how much Spo cares about the regular season after last year (given the seemingly endless rest days, Miami’s key players take).

Maybe I’m wrong and Jimmy and Bam have been too hurt to play in the numerous games so far, but I’d bet money they’d have suited up for just about everyone if it was the playoffs.

I will say if Spo is resting guys, it’s a dangerous game given how close they were in both play-in games. Gotta target the 6th seed or better to avoid that nonsense and drama.

Zachary Kap

Am I the only one who thinks this in season tourney is dumb?

The attempt at manufactured excitement is falling flat with me. I want Miami to win this game, like I want them to win every game.

Just strange overall to me.

It’s an artificial stimulant to create interest in the slow period of the season. Has some bragging rights, but good mostly for the vet minimum guys.
